Great little product. Works great.

The clock is a traditional design and has a lovely burnished appearance. The cuckoo pops out on the hour through two cute little doors. It automatically does not cuckoo at 10pm till 6am and starts again at 7 am till 9 pm. The volume can be adjusted. Very authentic looking weights but is a battery operated clock. The chunky pendulum also looks nice. One other thing I appreciate is that there is no loud irritating ticking noise. All in all excellent value for money, good reliable quality and a very attractive feature in my hall.

A bit more fake plastic than I anticipated but once on the wall it looks great. Bought one for my mum as she loved ours so much. I especially like that you can adjust the volume and it won’t chime during hours of slumber. However changing the time is a little complex and mine is now out of sync because I didn’t understand the instructions

Much as described. However the cookcoo had to be glued to its perch. The setting instructions should be read carefully. I like it and its still reminding me of its presence on the hour.

Worked for one day. Then literally had a life of its own. Would even not cuckoo. And then the next hour. Would go over rhe top. Too many usually, or just one. It was my wedding anniversary present from my husband so very upset. We reset it five times, via instructions, still no good. On top of that, we spent nearly a tenner on batteries. And nothing else in our house takes C size batteries. Total waste of money

The media could not be loaded. Beautiful packaging but not much information on which batteries to get! Luckily someone had put this information into the q&a section of the product listing. Takes 3 x C batteries or just 2 if you don't want the bird to cuckoo. Clock is not silent as described, it does have a quiet tic. It's easy to set up if you follow the instructions cuckoo chimes on the hour from 7am to 9pm and cannot be changed (unless you only put in the two batteries and in that case it won't chime at all). The clock is light as it is made of plastic and I do think it is over priced BUT I absolutely love it. It's so cute and silly. The volume of the cuckoo can be higher or lower with a dial at the back. I'm really happy with it.
