xTool 1064nm Infrared Laser Module, Only for xTool D1 Pro Laser Engraver, Engrave on Most Metals, Designed for Plastic and Acrylic Engraving

The media could not be loaded. Added an addition to my xtool setup. I wanted a module that would do more metal materials.. so I purchased the infrared laser. Packaging came, professional packaged. Like the rest of their products. Swapped modules over. Attached the bigger power supply and I was ready to go. Tried it on stainless steel, also done an image aswell and I've got to say, the fine details was amazing. Well done xtool. Another great product, looking forward to using the module on other materials.

Received this today, and added it really easily to the xtool d1 pro base unit (also new today). Downloaded Xtool Creative Space (XCS) and found the software really easy to use. Had a bit of difficulty at first trying to get it to engrave on 925 silver, but after trying a different setting, found it engraved really easily and the detail is insanely good (the fingerprint is 8mm)

Not very good, at all, can only be used for one instance, but otherwise dont bother

I'm still in the learning process but i can say that it works perfectly. already engraved a silver plated keychain and a car key :P

Most reviews mention the quality of the packaging but no-one buys a tool for the box it came in!The infrared module has a "drop down arm" which is supposed to ensure that the laser is focused,That ain't the case.4 weeks into it and I can't get it to engrave black acrylic as advertised.From the Xtool user group on facebook, it's clear that the focusing arm doesn't workI can get it to engrave brushed stainless steel, but even then I had to drop the module 1mm below the measured drop arm.As I understand it this module has a focusing tolerance of +- 0.5mm and the drop arm doesn't achieve this.Xtool kit is ok but when you read/watch reviews the most positive comments are about the quality of the packaging. It appears to me that Xtool work on the principle that the user will assume that they are failing when in reality the tool has some major failings.Don't expect this to engrave straight out the box. You will need to do a lot of Youtube learning to get useable results.I have the D1 pro 20w module which works fine but the IR module is a different ball game

The media could not be loaded. When engraving the main unit just doesn't seem to be able to power this module. It shudders, slows and loses laser power when running. This causes the etching to be uneven, sometimes not even etching at all. The concept is great but the D1 pro just can't power this laser module. Finished off returning the module (again) after giving xtool a second chance. Sean in customer services was great he was friendly and helpful but the unit let them down.

So excitedly set up my new laser head onto my D1 pro 20w, only to be very disappointed with the performance. Did the whole manual fiddle about for focus as per their instruction video, pressed play and got very sporadic laser etching on my material. Played around with power and speed, but still had fade on the beginning third and last third of the text. It's almost like it only had power in the middle bit.Realised that I didn't get the additional focus tool, so made my own. Still had fade to both sides. Checked material for absolute flatness, all good there. Packed it up and it's being returned. Very disappointed, I expected so much better.

Don't buy this. Program is shocking, won't work (I'm on a Mac pro 2023) and it's a constant battle to make it work.Very hard to change over the laser heads and the small pins risk breaking so that's a waste of time.Amazon don't give you time to return so I'm getting my money back via S75 as you will do the same!Avoid Xtools.Waste of money.

Ce graveur laser a transformé mes projets créatifs en réalité. La précision et la qualité de gravure sont impressionnantes, que ce soit sur des bijoux, des accessoires en métal ou même des étiquettes pour animaux. J'apprécie particulièrement la robustesse et la fiabilité de l'appareil, même après de longues sessions de travail. Le fait qu'il soit livré avec des exemples d'objets gravés est un plus, car cela m'a donné des idées et de l'inspiration pour mes propres créations. C'est plus qu'un outil, c'est un véritable partenaire dans mes projets artistiques.

Con este módulo he podido grabar en metales que no he logrado hacer con el módulo de diodo, en este caso latón. Un acabado muy bueno. El problema que veo es que hay que tener una precisión milimétrica al momento de acercarlo o alejarlo del material que queremos grabar y para eso hay que hacer muchas pruebas antes del grabado final.

Ich habe mir den xTool Infrarot Laserkopf gekauft, damit ich Metalle und Kunststoffe gut gravieren kann. Mit dem normalen Laserkopf war es zwar auf eingen Metallen auch möglich allerdings nicht in dem Ausmaß wie mit dem Infrarot Laser. Am Anfang hat sich das Fokussieren des Kopfes schwierig gestaltet. Hat man den Dreh erstmal raus hat, funktioniert es immer besser und besser. Das Problem ist meiner Meinung nach das Gewicht des Kopfes, er zieht die Schiene etwas nach vorne und macht somit das Fokussieren schwieriger.Die Gravierergebnisse sind wie beim Diodenlaser sehr zufriedenstellend. Ich konnte alle Metalle, die ich greifen konnte, gravieren. Kupfer, Edelstahl, Aluminium und verzinkter Stahl stellt alles kein Problem dar. Kunststoffe konnte ich bisher nicht viele testen. Die die ich getestet habe, haben gute Ergebnisse abgeliefert. Vor allem beim schwarzen Acryl konnte ich gute Ergebnisse erzielen. Deshalb auch hier wieder 5/5 Sterne für den Laserkopf, kann ich nur empfehlen.

So nun konnte ich endlich meinen neuen XTool 1064nm Infrarot Laserkopf testen.Als erstes muss ich sagen die Verpackung war wieder bestens und hat sich auch echt bewährt. Das Paket hatte an der einen Seite eine ordentliche Macke abbekommen, somit dachte ich schon na hoffentlich ist dem Laser nichts passiert …Verpackung geöffnet und dank der dicken Schaumstoff Schicht war an dem Laser nichts zu sehen!Also XTool echt einen super Job mit der hochwertigen Verpackung 👍So nun zu dem eigentlichen Laser.Er wird mit einem speziellen Netzteil geliefert und Ja benutzt dieses bitte auch.Ich hab vorher die 20W Version gehabt aber das Kabel ist bei dem neuen Netzteil vom Querschnitt vergrößern worden also wird es auch seine Berechtigung haben.Der Kopf wird ganz einfach ersetzt, die Kabel bleiben die alten. Dann kann es eigentlich auch schon los gehen.Eine kleine Anmerkung noch …Das wechseln geht leicht, Klemmschraube auf Laser raus neuer Laser rein.Der einzige Punkt den ich etwas unschön finde, ist die Sache mit dem Datenkabel am Laser Kopf.Da wäre es schöner gewesen, irgendwie eine separate Trennstelle einzubauen so dass man das Kabel anderweitig trennen und neu verbinden könnte. Mit großen Händen ist das immer etwas schwierig mit dem kleinen Steckplatz am Laserkopf.Aber trotzdem machbar 😁Die Software erkennt sofort den neuen Laser und bietet auch gleich die neuen Parameter an.Dann kann es auch direkt los gehen …VORAUSGESETZT man findet den richtigen Fokus!Es ist wie bei den anderen Laser ein Abstandshalter zum einstellen dabei. Nur leider kann es sein dass sich durch das verschrauben der Fokus wieder etwas verändert.Trotz dem habe ich relativ gute Ergebnisse bekommen auch wenn der Fokus nicht 100% gestimmt hat!Wie es mit der Reproduzierbarkeit ist wenn man z.b ein Schlüsselanhänger dann einen Ring und wieder einen Schlüsselanhänger gravieren möchte, hab ich noch so meine Zweifel …Aber solange man alles eingestellt hat und die gleichen Teile graviert hab ich nicht so große Schwierigkeiten gehabt.Allerdings braucht das schon etwas Übung.Am besten man schaut sich vorher auch ein paar Videos auf YouTube an da gibts auch Lösungsvorschläge zu.Der erste Test war die von XTool damals mitgelieferte Unterlage die mit meinem XTool D1 Pro 20W nicht zu beschriften war.Doch siehe da mit dem neuen Laser gar kein Problem!Zum „einfärben“ von Edelstahl kann ich noch nichts sagen, konnte ich leider noch nicht testen!Mit meinen Tests bin ich aber bisher echt sehr zufrieden! Vor allem auf Kunststoff finde ich die Gravur echt super. Hab mir meinen Autoschlüssel vorgenommen und ich finde das Ergebnis Top!Lange Rede kurzer Sinn.Beschäftigt euch vor dem Kauf mit dem Produkt dann wisst ihr worauf ihr euch einlasst und mit etwas Testen und probieren kann es eigentlich auch schnell los gehen.Ich werde weiter testen aber bis jetzt bin ich wirklich zufrieden mit dem Laser!!

Modulo Laser bien presentado en un atractivo rojo y con un un embalaje de calidad.Compramos el Modulo Laser para grabar equipos y placas de caracteristicas.Hacemos series muy pequeñas y equipos personalizados.Probado sobre aluninio anodizado (bastante bien), cobre (menos bien) y acrilico negro Plexiglas GS 9H10 GT (queda en color bronce-oro).Todo con una Xtool D1 Pro que se compro conjuntamente con el modulo de infrarojo.Despues de unos 45 min de uso el cabezal laser dejo de funcionar.Fue sustituido por otro nuevo y de momento sin problemas.Bien por el servicio postventa y atencion al cliente de Xtool.Recomendable para pequeñas series.
