These sash jammers are simple but effective for adding extra security to uPVC windows and doors. They feel sturdy once installed and help prevent the window or door from being forced open. The white finish blends well with standard frames and the mechanism is easy to operate. Installation was straightforward, and the pack of two is useful for covering more than one entry point. They’re a good option if you want an inexpensive way to reinforce vulnerable windows or doors.

Good security measure

One of the locks on the downstairs windows was a little temperamental in that it sometimes only partially locked the window. So needed something that would provide extra security when the lock decides of have an off day. These worked brilliantly and easy to install. Our bottom frame is quite slim so needed make sure that there was enough clearance so that the locking arm can be moved in to locking position. I said that the install was easy but the screws that are provided seem to have a drilling part at the top. I found that holding the lock while trying to screw the screw was difficult as it did take a little time with the electric drill to cut into the frame. I opted to using masking tape to hold the lock so that I had two hands free to use the drill to screw the screw into the frame. Reflecting on this, perhaps I could have drilled a very small pilot hole which may have been easier. Supplied are two spacers to factor in how thick your window frame is relative to the window. I did not need them.

There made of plastic and I'm not sure they will secure the window but I've installed them to see if they detear any house thief's

Cumplen su cometido y se colocan fácilmente. Mi única pega es que conviene tener alguno de reemplazo ya que es fácil que alguno se estropee con el paso del tiempo, pero en principio sujetan bien la ventana y dan seguridad añadida. Los recomiendo desde luego.

Tutto in metallo, robusto e resistente agli strappi, facile da montare. Lo trovo particolarmente adatto per una sicurezza in più alla porta del camper.

Bon produit, utilisé comme loquet de porte. Mieux, plus discret et moins cher qu’un loquet. Livré avec différentes cales à utiliser en fonction des épaisseurs et des jeux entre porte et loquet.

ich hab den von außen an der Balkontür rangemacht, dar die Tür nicht ganz zu geht.
