An unpretentious little tuner which I find excellent for quick tuning of bagpipe drones. There are more complicated tuners out there, but this one is a stable and accurate performer.

You need a good tuner for your guitar or ukulele, easy to use, comes calibrated at 440 MH which is correct for guitars, good value, Regards, Ray

At last, a tuner that is truly universal. It recognises every note including flats and sharps. Most tuners cater for guitar or similar and give the srting number too and don't recognise those notes (like C and F plus all sharps and flats) which makes them as much use as a chocolate fire guard when tuning a 32 stringed autoharp. Excellent, thank you.

As a novice alto sax player, at first I had problems using the tuner and the vague quick-start guide that came with the device didn't help at all. So I emailed the manufacturer and was sent two links to their official guides almost by return. One was the guide referred to above, the other - which was far more helpful - the full CA2 manual (note to Korg: why not replace the first with the second?). In addition, there was a phone number offering further help if needed. This was no empty gesture. As I was still having problems I phoned the company and was put in touch with Jahan Tabrize, the sender of the first email. Not only did he take the time and trouble to explain how to use the tuner, but he also sent me links to Youtube videos on how to tune an alto. In short, Korg's customer service was second to none. I can't recommend the company and its product highly enough.

I've had this CA-2 tuner for about 6 months, and it's suddenly started acting up. It works with a jack connected, but using the internal mic it just goes haywire. Even in complete silence the needle just goes crazy, and it doesn't respond to any note you play. I put a new set of batteries in but it didn't make any difference. My guess is the internal mic has a bad connection on the PCB, creating a buzzing signal that the tuner interprets as random notes. I expected more from Korg, especially as I bought this to replace a CA-1 that I'd used for well over ten years without issue. Disappointed, and will be looking elsewhere for a replacement.

Good cheep tuner for intonation. 100h battery time. Can't go wrong!

I love this tuner. It makes tuning my esraj quite easy. But at this price, it should have come up with a metronome.

I was sort of sceptical at first looking at the price of this unit, I still don't understand why it is so 'cheap'... I was wanting a tuner to tune my guitar for drop C and C# and this little guy fits the bill. I was not sure at fist if it would pick those notes up, tho it will pick anything up I ever have to tune for. This unit is perfect, comes with batteries, I love the microphone or plug-in option, and it is deadly accurate and has you tuned up within seconds (if your guitar is semi close) to get you going to play your favorite songs IN TUNE. I also like the fact that I can position it right on my guitar to get all dialed in, it is clearly visible, simple and makes it fun!

I felt this product is very fragile, and the slide of Battery comes off often.
