Great simple, everyday watch.
This is my review of "Timex Men's Easy Reader Brown Leather Watch - T20041"From the date of posting this review, i have had the product for 4 months, wearing it constantly within these 4 months. The first thing that strikes you is the clarity of the face of the watch. It truely is an easy reader, the numbers stand out well meaning you can take a glance and be able to make out the time - your eyes don't get lost in the watch unlike others. The leather strap looks durable and seems to be keeping up with the constant (ab)use. It has everything i look for in a watch: shows the specific day, date, water resistant and has a light. Its waterproof for everyday use (not swimming) and i never take mine off when in the shower and as expected, it continues to work.It is worth noting, it is on the smaller side for a watch. I have smaller hands and slim wrists so this watch suits me down to the ground. it doesn't look overly bulky on my wrist (a problem i've had with previous watches) so if you have the same issue i've had in the past, this watch wont make your wrist look as if it's being weighed down.Lastly the light on the watch is what you expect. A green glowing light that is turned on by pushing (and holding) the crown. This is a great product and when i was searching around, the battery life was around the 4-5 year mark. So for the price (£29.99 at time of purchase) this is an absolute bargain and would recommend to anyone looking for a practical watch for everyday use.

Looks OK, time consuming to set the day display.
Just received this watch, the Timex T20041, so this isn't a long term review, just first observations.Watch looks good and of reasonable quality for the price. Comes with the crown winder retracted to save the battery, simply remove a tab and press the crown in to start the watch. No useful instructions are included as usual for everything these days, other than the usual thickish multi language booklet which only covers safety regarding battery usage.Setting the time is easy, with the crown pulled fully out, turn it to set the hands.Push it very slightly in and turn to set the date. Here's the rub though, to set the day you have to pull the crown fully out, then advance the hands round and round through 24 hours till you get to midnight so that the day then advances. Continue this till you reach your required day setting.I stand corrected if anyone knows better than this, but without unduly forcing the crown I couldn't find any other way of setting the day.I couldn't find any actual dimensions for this watch, but if anyone is interested I measured it as follows:-Diameter of case 35mm, diameter including crown 37mm, Lugs overall top to bottom 40mm, strap width between lugs 18mm, thickness of case 8mm.Why these dimensions are not given for all watches, I don't know.If any faults develop in the future I will update this review, so in the meantime no news is good news.Hope this helps if you are considering buying.

Great watch for the money
After years with a fitbit which either glitched, didn’t sync or constantly nagged me I though I’d just like a normal old fashion watch. Saw this and as a classic design I really liked it. The day/date is great to have and really useful as is the light up facility. Really easy to read, very comfortable and so far reliable. Also looks great. All for not much money. Highly recommended.

Nice and Clear
I bought this for my husband and he is pleased with it. The face is clear and easy for him to read. He is very pleased with the indigo, which is easy for him at night, just push the button.

Very pleased with this watch - great value for money
I needed an inexpensive watch while my Seiko was in for repair and this watch had all the features I wanted - Day/Date, Arabic numerals a quartz movement for accuracy and waterproof and this watch ticked al those boxes. The dial is bigger than I thought it would be and with its built in light to allow you to tell the time in the dark - it certainly lives up to its claim to be and "easy reader". The leather strap also seems to be good quality. Its astonishing to find all these features in a watch at this price.

Cheap band
Watch band broken twice. Repair shop was not impressed and said it was a cheap and ill fitting band.

A cheap easy to read watch
A clear clutter free dial certainly makes this watch easy to read in normal light conditions but the hands are not luminous so in the dark you need to push in the adjuster to switch on the "Indigo" feature which works well light up the entire dial reasonable brightly and evenly. The is quite thin and lightweight and the basic look presents itself in perhaps is a watch more suitable for children although as I'm not worried about image it's OK with me. One silly aspect is that the day and date does not change to around 3AM the next day. One would imagine it would have been easy to fit the hands so the day changed either side of midnight. I was convinced I had a duff watch and had it replaced by Amazon very quickly, but alas, the replacement worked in exactly the same way. I still thought is was wrong but accepted the watch I can only imagine they are all the same. Bottom line a cheap clear faced watch with backlight and leather strap....would suit a child very well but OK for adults too.
