If the question means "completely block out the sun;" the answer is no. My experience: This window shade blocks out most of the sun and leaves a view like " looking through a pair of sun glassses."

Q: Does this include sunshade for both back windows or just one?

The design allows for sunshade to be used on both windows because you can switch the plugs from one side to the other. Just be careful when pulling out the plugs.
