MedAngel ONE - Keep Your Insulin and Other medications at The Right Temperature

Great product they do exactly what they were designed for advising temperature insulin and other medical items are in real time. I have purchased three, one for my fridge, one for my insulin pen & one spare for using when I am storing or carrying insulin away from home.

Truly appalling customer care. The sensor worked for 3 weeks and then suddenly stopped working. I contacted the support team who replied with a suggestion, this didn't fix the problem, I followed up with 5 further emails asking for support, and and if I could send back the sensor so they could see if they could fix it. I received no response at all. I had hoped to purchase a second sensor following the initial success and piece of mind, so we could have one in the fridge and one for when we were out and about to ensure my sons insulin was always safe. Despite thinking they are a fantastic concept, the fact that they don't reply to my emails means I cannot bring myself to spend the money on a second in the hope I would have more success.

Good concept, does not work well in practice. If this was manufactured better it could be a life saver, wouldn't recommend shelling out for this. Results inaccurate or device completely broken after a few weeks.

This is the second Med Angel I’ve tried, the first one stopped working after a few days, I got in touch with the company to report the problem, but when they couldn’t work out what was wrong, they just stopped replying to my emails. I returned it, thinking I’d received a faulty sensor, and bought another, but the same thing has happened again with this one, they just don’t seem to be reliable enough, particularly not when the storage of essential medication is involved. So I’ll be returning this one too, it’s such a shame, as it’d be a great product if it just worked!

Med Angel units were an absolute insulin saver while on holiday in the Grand Canyon in July during a heat wave. Hotel refrigerator was way too warm and with Med Angel we were able to do what was need to keep everything at the right temperature!! Highly, highly recommend this product!!

The MedAngel One is a brilliant idea for a product but I’ve had this under a year and the sensor has lost signal and the battery has run low. I have tried everything to get it to reconnect and it won’t work. Seems to be nothing in the troubleshooting section about loss of signal, I am waiting on a response from MedAngel One. Do not expect to pay a lot of money on something that in under a year stops working.

Saw a lot of other diabetics with these on Instagram so I thought I’d bite the bullet and invest before going travelling. I’ve only used them at home so far, but they’re great, especially in the heat wave we’ve been having!

Great idea and, if working, is great. However it rarely works. Also destroys my iPhone battery life. Now completely dead. AVOID

Ne ho acquistati 2 circa due anni e mezzo fa. Tranne il fatto che funziona solo se il cellulare è nel raggio bluetooth, nessun problema. Poi uno dei due sembra morto, cambiato batteria, trovato di tutto ma non si connette più all'app e non aggiorna dati. Contattato assistenza mia nessuno risponde.

Ich habe mir 2 von den Sensoren bestellt um meine Medikamente zu überwachen.Im Gegensatz zu einigen Bewertungen konnte ich die Batterien problemlos in die Sensoren einlegen.Denn es war eine Folie im Batteriefach das es ganz einfach ermöglichte den Batteriedeckel zu öffnenund die mitgelieferten Knopfzellen einzulegen.Nach dem einlegen der Batterien hoffte ich dann freudig in den Einstellungen meines iPhones die Sensorenunter den Bluetooth-Einstellungen aktivieren zu können.Aber nix passierte, keiner der Sensoren wurde gefunden.Die Lösung war die kostenlose App "MedAngel ONE" vom Hersteller. Hier wurden sie problemlos erkannt und konntenin Betrieb genommen werden und damit ihre Arbeit aufnehmen.Eins schon mal vorweg die Sensoren sind "NICHT" für Gefrierschränke also sehr niedrige Temperaturen geeignet.Ein Test in meinem Gefrieschrank brachte mir die Ernüchterung. Das Temperaturergebnis war welten von den tatsächlichen werten im Gefrierschrank entfernt (gemessener Sensorwert -14,6°C , tatsächlicher Wert -19,1°C )Die Knopfzellen scheinen wohl ebenfalls keine so niedrigen Temperaturen zu mögen denn als der Sensor im Gefrierschrank lag wurde der aktuelle Batteriestand mit fast leer angezeigt.Nach der entnahme des Sensors aus dem Gefrierschrank erholte sich die Knopfzelle wieder und zeigte wieder eine volleKnopfzelle an.Ansonsten funktionieren die Sensoren im Kühlschrank perfekt(beide Sensoren nebeneinander gelegt messen exakt die gleiche Temperatur in meinem Fall 5,7°Cwas auch in etwa mit dem Kühlschrankthermometer übereinstimmt 6°C).Nun zur App:Positiv:- schneller Erkennung der Sensoren- Anzeige der Sensorsignalstärke- Anzeige des Batteriestands- Einfaches hinzufügen oder entfernen von Medikamenten- Hinweis des Temperaturbereichs für das ausgewählte MedikamentNegativ:- Account-Zwang (ansonsten keine Nutzung des Sensors möglich)- Ein manuelles anstoßen der Messung ist leider nicht möglich- Es fehlt die Information über den zulässigen Messbereich des Sensors (in der Temperaturstatistik geht die Skala von +50°C bis unter -10°C)- Nur in Verbindung mit ausgewähltem Medikament nutzbarIm großen und ganzen kann ich den/die Sensor/en aber bis jetzt jedem,der Medikamente benötigt die Kühl gelagert werden müssen, kühlstens ;-) empfehlen.

Assure un contrôle continu et précis de la température de l'endroit où il placé. Indispensable donc pour transporter en respectant les températures préconisées des médicaments ou des autres produits thermosensibles.Très satisfait de ce thermomètre connecté, petit précis et facile d'usage, je le conseille à tous ceux qui veulent transporter leur médicaments (insuline notamment) en toute sécurité.

Der MedAngel Sensor ist nicht gerade preiswert, ich habe fast 50€ bezahlt! Dafür erwarte ich dann auch eine absolut sichere und zuverlässige Funktion. Das ist aber leider gar nicht der Fall, denn der Sensor synchronisiert mit der App nur zufällig und extrem lückenhaft - im Hintergrund, wenn man die App nicht ständig öffnet, klappt es noch schlechter, Hintergrundaktualisierung und Bluetooth sind natürlich aktiv. Ich kann den „Engel“ daher absolut nicht empfehlen, zur Überwachung temperaturempfindlicher Medikamente sollte er auf keinen Fall verwendet werden!

J’avais des doutes parfois pour la conservation de l’insuline étant donné que mon frigo date un peu, rassurée. Je l’utilise aussi en week-end dans ma pochette pour vérifier que l’insuline ne prenne pas trop le chaud et réagir si besoin. Facile à installer, application bien conçue. Seul bémol, le petit capuchon à pas de vis sur l’arriere, il mériterait d’etre revu, l’encoche pour visser /dévisser n’est pas assez profonde et on peut vite vriller cette dernière car le plastique n’est pas assez dur.
