beautiful little compass, works well, you can even test it by putting your phone near it then away you can see the magnetic field being affected. That being said make sure it is near NO electronic devices when you're using it, even my headlamp and tiny remote for my lights affects it.Not sure if the white ring on the outside with degrees is supposed to glow in the dark (can't remember what the description said) either way mine doesn't. still love it though.

Ordered this co pass and it didn't work properly. Company contacted me and replaced it immediately, it's a lovely looking compass and works well.

Nice and compact compass fits easily into your pocket. Needle tends to stick a bit when you turn the compass ring to align up with North but then settles down showing North. Maybe just a new thing glitch like you sometimes get, only time will tell. Its nice. It`s like having a pocket watch with you.

The product is not bad and the build quality is okay, I can however alter what north is just by turning it? Kinda doesnt do it's job, another issue I have is that turning the top layer makes a grinding sound on the metal case.... Makes me wonder if it cirlindrical, nice novelty tho

My kids love them. They look great, really good quality for the price. Got 2 of these now, bought one years ago for same price and it looks just as good as the new one.

This compass is next to useless. It looks nice but, as far as I can see, doesn't work properly most of the time. The needle often "freezes" and often points in the wrong direction. I tried giving it a few taps as commented by some reviewers but this only works sometimes after much encouragement. This compass is certainly not reliable and would be of little or no use if you found yourself lost in a woodland on a cloudy day! I have wasted my money big time.

It is a cheap and useful tool to have and meets all the criteria I need. It is a handy size, nice looking and waterproof.

Bought for school child to learn map reading.Unfortunately the loop is a soft alloy and doesn't appear to be durable. It is a shame the loop hole does not go through the end piece to allow a better connection.If I find a small drill I may drill all way through and I advise you do if you are orienteering and depending on it and need to avoid loosing it. Av shame because it is a fairly useful compass for a childs education/occasional use
