AmScope MD35 0.3MP Digital Microscope Camera for Still and Video Images, 40x Magnification, Eye Tube Mount, USB 2.0 Output, Includes Software

Although one might come to expect quality with every electronic component purchased, we all know that its impossible. Thus when buying this, I had low expectations. What a wonderful surprise I was in for. To begin with, I bought this for convenience and to be able to snap pics on my computer. The package arrived and everything was secure and well packed. Although I never used anything like this before, everything was rather intuitive. Good thing, as the instructions left much to be desired. I am still trying to figure out how to use the program.After a couple of hours, I was able to do more than I thought I could with it. Overall, I am amazed with the product. Confining my hobby to brewing, so far all I use this for is to court cells. It does a great job day after day.

This is a piece of garbage. The image quality is abhorrent, and the camera is not parfocal with the eyepieces. Avoid at all costs.

Anyone that uses a microscope a lot will appreciate this little device. It allows me to look at things on a 22" screen rather than looking through an eyepiece. Less strain on the eyes and with this I can take photos of what I see in the scope. Great little device and with the lens extensions that make the field of view narrower but higher magnification is an added benefit. I now could not do without it.

I returned this camera because the software was funky with my 64 bit Windows 7 platform - even though the software is supposed to function fine.USB is pretty much plug and play. The CD with the software installed fine - easy breezy set up. In execution however, the software once launched allows you to select the camera (easy) and then the image of whatever is under the microscope is supposed to show up. The first moments were great! I was excited - seeing the live blood sample that I wanted to view on my computer screen. Then minutes later it all went dark on the screen. It wasn't my computer, wasn't the microscope, it wasn't the actual camera - it's the software -- has to be. I tried the camera on 3 separate occasions and each time everything initializes fine and I see the images and then repeatedly, the screen goes blank and I can't get the images back. Very heartbreaking. I so wanted this to work...

This was a present for our grandkids. They've enjoyed this scope a lot & being able to connect to a computer was an added bonus! They will be using this for several years. Thank you for such a great product!

As advertised.

This just really didn't work for us. We worked with it for almost a month making different types of slides and the pictures on the computer were just not that good. I was very disappointed, but Amazon was AMAZING in helping me to get it returned.

Great product, works very well with AmScope 40X-2000X Biological Binocular Microscope. Fast processing by the shipper and the package well packed.
