My Black and Decker grind and brew coffee maker is being replaced but in the meantime I went back to my mr. Coffee drip but I needed this gold tone filter and along with the filter disc makes the coffee taste twice as good especially if you use whole bean coffee grind it yourself and that way you get the wonderful full robust flavor but without the gold tone filter you will not because paper filters stop the oil from the beans from passing into your carafe so the combination of the gold tone permanent filter and the water disc filter is perfect.

Can't beat the price on the package including a year's supply of filters, BUT .... I had not anticipated the cleaning problems this basket creates. I can only get about 90% of the used grounds into the trash, so 10% daily are going down my kitchen sink drain and I'm worried about that. Also, because this basket has a solid bottom, the brewing liquid has to go sideways or up and over to drip into the carafe. I think this is creating residue that is affecting the taste of my coffee. I'm going to do a thorough cleaning of my coffee maker and switch back to paper for a while and see if I notice a return to the taste I remember.

Very good price for all the filters and I enjoy using the reusable basket. Did see some complaints about the wire basket being too flimsy, but you want the water going through the mesh easily! Just be careful when cleaning. I use a soft bottle brush to get all the coffee grinds out.

Product delivered as advertised. However, the filters are a knockoff and look a little different than than the original product.

Great price and stocked up on filters for awhile. The basket is really good. The solid bottom does not bother me as much as other reviewers have stated. Also, it's not that hard to clean. Just depends on how much grinds you want in the garbage disposal. Good deal I think and makes the coffee taste great.

Beats paper filters anytime. Careful when cleaning grinds metal cage will bend. Filters really keep stuff out of coffee grinds. I wash coffee pot with vinegar at least 1 a month, and filter still catches stuff.

filters work well basket is cheap but works

Love this filter - have had one for years, and still use it. Bought this set because we actually needed the water filters. The basket filter was an added bonus!
