Bought this for my Brother for Christmas, he loves Costa. The actual product is lovely. One of the cups was broken and not eligible to be replaced. However, supplier made contact straight away and a replacement is going to be sent. Very happy. A very reasonable supplier

Bought this set as a gift for a colleague who was leaving and loves Costa. The set is nice but unfortunately one of the cups was broken when she opened the box. I’ve looked into the return/replace option on Amazon and I’m told the item isn’t eligible for returns, so disappointed that the gift is now incomplete and there’s nothing we can do about it.Edit: I didn’t realise that this item was being sold by a third party seller. They contacted me when my original review was posted and offered me a replacement cup and another item to make up for the problem. I was really pleased with this service so can’t fault the seller for their response.

A nice gift set but the contents don't really justify the high price

It was packed well but no biscuits arrived with it as described.

The costa coffee hamper kit has some strange choices in it. There are two monin syrups included, though both are Caramel flavour. There are two “small” coffee cups, a sachet of cocoa powder with a shaker to sprinkle it over the coffee; with a template to get the costa 3 beans image on your cappuccino.Then there is a bag of ground coffee; for v60 or cafetiere/ French press. You can’t make a cappuccino from the coffee. It does make a pretty good V60 though. There is a rich nutty note to this coffee and there is essentially no bitterness.If you are a costa fanatic, the cups are just like the ones in store; they need to be warmed up before use as the ceramics pull a lot of heat from your coffee – and I found it cooled much quicker using it than my double walled glasses. The monin syrup is a with sugar syrup; it does add a sweet and warm note to your coffee. The caramel syrup does work nicely with the costa coffee; though it was the first caramel v60 I have had.There is nothing inherently wrong with the kit; except the coffee which is ground for filtering rather than espresso is, to me, mismatched to the rest of the accessories. The gift set box and packaging are nice; and if you have a filter drinking costa loving person in mind it could make for a nice gift.

This is a nice gift set packaged and wrapped really nicely, however I feel it is massively overpriced for what you get in it. You get one small bag of coffee, 2 coffee mugs, 2 small syrup bottles, a single hot chocolate packet, a coffee scoop/peg, cocoa duster and a coffee stencil and it is priced at £40!! Way too much in my opinion. It is all nice stuff but I would expect it to rrp at no more than £25 in my eyes. I like all the bits you get in it though so i cant complain about that but the price itself would put me off from purchasing this item.
