A lovely professional iron, just disappointed that it DOES NOT have auto shutoff despite claiming this in the description.

Great iron. Lovely and heavy. Nice to not use a steam iron again.

Does not glide easily
Disappointed. The iron is a good weight and despite some alarming loud clicks, heats up quickly. However the soleplate does not glide smoothly over fabrics. Tried it with very dry, partly dry and damp cottons and it was hard work - took twice as long as using my old steam iron (without water in it). It arrived yesterday and annoyingly I find I can't return it as it's not actually faulty but has now been used, albeit once.
