Excellent to make up a low budget sleepy bedside light. It's adequate (just) to read by. It's native pure red LED ( hence non blue at all: blue coloured items look fully black). For reference, we have other "theraputic" deep red led at 670 nM; these bulbs are a little bit more towards the orange than that.

I bought these are red light doesn’t hurt your eyes and us looking at so much screen’s & blue light we see from phones Tv & laptops unless there OLED But even then it’s still can effect your vision so having sone red light in the room is amazing & these are really good value for money They work perfectly & are super easy to set up lol you just screw them in , remember there the small screw in For me there to bight & even when I dim them with my lamp there is no change, maybe they can’t be dimmed idk They are really good , cheap & work perfectly & you will get a long time out of them just to bight for me

I bought this as a night light. Red light helps me sleep. This is a bit brighter than I thought, so have bought a couple of 2W to try. Nice if you want a bright red light and only uses 5W.

Small bulb but very bright. Worth the money.

Didn't even last 3 weeks and within that 3 weeks I turned them on no more than 6 times, absolute pants
