My daughter’s extremely happy with this. I can’t comment on how it works although she has her eye on things for ages and will decide which is the best and went for this one.

The media could not be loaded.  I have always been disappointed with appliances that claim they can create lovely bouncy curls within minutes, then my hair gets tangled up or after 5 minutes the curls have completely dropped out.But not no more!Literally within minutes of pressing the power button on, the wand was hot and ready to tackle my vast amount of thin, freshly washed hair.Following the instructions supplied, I sectioned off a part of my hair and proceeded to wrap it around the tappered nozzle.After a few seconds I released my hair and a lovely lock of curly hair fell down onto my shoulder.Now granted, I am the first to admit I am no expert and I'll definitely need more practice to be confident in attempting my whole head. But aleast this curler has given me some hope.Beware though, the tapered nozzle does get extremely hot, which is probably why it comes with a handy silicone mat to place the product on. So you do have to leave it to cool down before packing it away.Comes with a nicely branded paddle brush so you can gently soften the curls if you so wish.Excellent product, I would definitely recommend you give it a try.

Difficult to use and the curls dropped out so quickly. Disappointed

I do like the shape of this curling wand, it’s a little unusual (it is tapered) and it works really well at creating natural looking curls. My hair is around shoulder length and the curl wand is good but as with most curlers it is a little time consuming. However I have found that I don’t have to go back over sections of hair which obviously saves time in the long run. I tend to hold the hair in place on the curler for around 8 seconds this seems to work well for my hair. You may find your hair doesn’t need as long. All in all I’m happy with how long the curls last!You do get a few extras in the set like a heat resistant mat and a hair brush. It is corded but this doesn’t have too much of an impact while I’m using the curl wand.Overall I do think because it is a set it would make a lovely gift. As with any curler it can be a bit of trial and error to get the desired curl but it wasn’t too difficult with this product. It is easy to use and works well. It is a premium curler but you do get good results. I’m happy with it!

I’d been looking at this curl wand for a while so was looking forward to trying it. The wand heats up very quickly, it is lightweight to hold and easy to use. Does take a bit of practice, the first time I used I did burn the tip of my finger as the glove supplied only covers 3. Does get easier though the more you use.It is very easy to wrap pieces of hair around no matter which section you are doing. This is the best curl device I have tried for doing the back of my hair. You really only need to hold for a few seconds and it gives a great curl or wave depending on which part of the wand you use. My hair looked fantastic styled with this and the waves lasted all day without dropping out. Really impressive wand. I have tried several different devices but this wand gives the nicest strongest curls. I highly recommend. It is so quick to style your whole head of hairComes with a heat glove and brush. The brush is fantastic for brushing out any tangles. Also includes a heat mat for resting the wand on when in use

As always GHD brand provides us with a really good hair-curling wand. It looks really good and stylish. And most importantly it is very light which makes this wand even better for curling your hair. As it is a gift set it comes with some additions such as a brush and a silicone mat. In addition to a glove and a want itself. As well it has a quite long cord around 2.7 meters. So it will be more then enough to use at home or even professionally.Using it is quite easy as it is very simple. It just has one button. Once you turn it on it heats up almost instantly to 185 C. It takes a bit of time to cool down but whats why the silicone mat is provided.It curls hair without any issues, and most importantly the curls are really lasting for a decent amount of time. However to achieve what you will need a bit of practice.Overal good curler. Which is high quality as always from the company such as GHD.

A lovely gift set from GHD. The set is beautifully displayed in a GHD box and contains a curling wand, oval-head brush, three-fingered protective glove, and silicone heat protection mat - all products to the quality expected of GHD.The curling wand, like most other curling devices I have used, takes a little while to get used to and understand the best practice for the style I like to go for. I prefer loose waves so I have been using more of the thicker part of the wand (to give larger curls), but testing out the end of the wand does produce tighter curls as expected. It really doesn't take long to heat up and the results are fantastic. The brush has soft bristles and feels great going through my hair. The mat is perfect for placing any heated hair devices on so it's kept out permanently. Really happy overall and it's another win from me for GHD!
