Good jeans, fit well but fabric is lightweight
They are Levi's. Usually massively overpriced but can be had in frequent sales, deals etc at a much more reasonable cost. They compare well with other makes. They fit well (for a slim fit) and are true to size. Good colour selections but no idea why some colours are twice the price of other so it pays not to be fussy. I do find the (slightly stretchy) fabric is quite thin though - thinner than regular 501's for example. So more of a fashion garment than a hard wearing one perhaps. Otherwise all good.

Quality and price.
I bought the grey version of these a few years ago for about £80, and always wanted a traditional-blue pair. They are exactly as I had hoped, and at a brilliant price of £48, so I bought another pair a week or so later!!

Great jeans...but perseverance required!
Firstly, the exact same ('cod rock') size jeans are £100 in John Lewis so a no-brainer buying here for £40!! I'm a slimish 6ft 204lbs (53 year old) bloke but I have wide hips and a low waste, so need a bigger size to compensate, but not at the expense of being huge in the legs. My new 511s fit like a glove...but Levi's sizing are odd and it was trial and error getting here. I measured my other slim fit jeans - John Rocha (36 x 32) and M & S (36 x 31) and they are the same size as these Levi 511 36 x 30!!? The 511s are clearly longer legged but don't let that put you off!

Perfect fit
Excellent, perfect fit normally a size w34 in levi 501s, but with 511s I need to go up one size. W36 and they are perfect and the golden colour is lush.

possible seconds
Very nice jeans but must be rejects or seconds of some sort. The top button keeps coming undone as the button hole seems to be slightly to large, not stitched properly. Rest of the jeans are great just have to make sure I wear them with a belt.
