I like Merrill boots and almost every year I get a new set, because I walk/hike 6 to 7 miles each day. They are light weight and very comfortable to wear.

Good comfortable shoes for outdoor stuff.

They fit the same and are just as comfortable as the same style shoe I tried on in the local Merrell store. However, as others have said they're not the color shown in the picture. I've done some research and I believe they are Granite Marine rather than the Granite as stated in the listing and shown in the picture. They have teal green/blue accents on the sole, shoe and lace eyelets. Color didn't matter to me so I don't mind, but be aware before you order. Mine did not come in a branded shoe box but a plain cardboard box with no markings. Also there was none of the normal indicators of a "new" shoe. No stuffing in the shoes and the laces were untied and loose. No tags either, though I'm not sure I remember tags on the ones in the store. No signs of wear on the sole though. Maybe a store display model? Tried on and lost the box but never worn outside? Again, for the price I'm ok with it but everyone may not feel the same.

I am a repeat buyer of Merrell. I think this is a quality shoe. They usually last me an entire year. Hope they keep up the quality. These are not waterproof.

First of all these are women's hikers, not men's. These hikers have fairly good arch support, but even with my thinnest socks the footbed is too short. I really wanted to like these, but I can't walk on a flat surface without toes jamming to front because they're too wide and too short. Problem number two is Amazon's change in return policy. Whole Foods? I'm not driving 22 miles to return something. They have messed up so many orders, but at least exchanging was easier. It's not close and the traffic and construction to get to the closest location make this a "no can do". The last two returns I had to do were because I received the wrong items, and one was sent back, but they said they never received jit and charged me anyway. Slowly but surely the convenience of Amazon shopping is being minimized. The Amazon Prime membership is rapidly losing it's appeal. It used to be a much more pleasant experience, but I guess that party couldn't last.

Sizing is correct.And arch support is amazing very comfortable shoe
