Great value
I love this little waffle maker. The waffles are done in the exact time the manual stated and come out perfectly. They do not stick! Cleans in a flash. This is the best inexpensive purchase I’ve made in a long time.

Great for Chaffles!
I'm doing keto and using low carb flours to make waffles and chaffles. This wafflemaker is well designed because if I accidentally overfill the well it doesn't seep under the plates, it just dribbles out. No sticking, even without oil, waffles come out with chopsticks. Because it makes two at a time it doesn't take up a lot of space in my kitchen and it doesn't take up all the counter space as I'm using it. Great for small kitchens or dorms! Love it! This is the best buy I've made in a while!Update: While the plates do keep waffle batter from dripping inside the machine, I've found when making chaffles which are predominantly made of cheese, the resulting oil DOES seep inside. The fix is making much thinner chaffles so that the cheese oil is contained within the waffle well and not seeping into the machine itself. This machine is still good in my opinion.

I Love this Thing
There's a more popular brand of mini waffle irons and by most accounts, it's a good product. Call me old (school) -- and maybe unreasonable -- but I'm swayed by long-term success more than what's hot today. Proctor Silex is a brand that has been around since my childhood (which means that it is old (school), too). I figured that, if they have survived that long, they must be doing something right, so I rolled the figurative dice and bought this one. I was not disappointed.I bought this primarily to get in on the chaffle (low-carb waffles with cheese as a primary ingredient) craze. (What was that about old school? Okay...) This makes those --and traditional waffles -- extraordinarily well. Like my old-school large (GE) waffle iron, it takes a couple of minutes or so to warm up. I put the waffle/chaffle batter in, gently lower the lid, and watch the steam. After a minute or so, the steam will increase greatly in the cooking process. When it begins to subside, you know that it's nearly done. I let it cook a little longer (until the steaming almost stops) for a nicely browned finish if I am going to eat right away. Otherwise, I will remove the waffle sooner (while it is still a light golden color) and cool it on a cake rack for freezing. Those toast up beautifully, later. Color (i.e., cooking) is uniform across the waffles. Unlike my 40+ year-old big waffle iron, the top and bottom of the finished product are also uniformly browned. Since you put the batter on the bottom, you should expect the bottom to brown a little more than the too, but this iron seems to compensate; top snd bottom seem to finish evenly. This tickled me.Cleanup is a breeze. There's enough oil in the batters I've used that there's been no need to oil the iron. (Chaffle cheese and egg contain fat. Waffle batter contains oil and egg.). Between the oil content and the non-stick surface of the iron, (w/ch)affles release easily when done. Cleanup amounts to a wipedown with a half paper towel, which contributes to the compost bin.I'm tempted to say more, but there's not much more to say. It's a simple device that simply works -- beautifully. Highly recommended.

Decent for my needs, need some improvement
This little waffle maker is not bad. I wanted to be able to cook and freeze waffles to use later. This does the job. It has a few problems though. My main complaint is that the top and bottom do not cook evenly. You can see in the photo the right hand one shows the top and the left hand one shows the bottom. They are still perfectly edible. I also take issue with the claim that they cook in 2-1/2 minutes. These waffles pictured cooked for 6 minutes. Anything less than 6 minutes and they are underdone. At 2-1/2 minutes you can't even open it without getting a gloppy mess. So no they do not cook in anywhere close to 2- 1/2 minutes. And my third dislike is that it's very difficult to clean because the grids don't come out. When I purchase another one I will definitely be looking for one with removable grids. All that said, for what I want to do, this waffle maker works okay and it was inexpensive.

I love it!
I really love this waffle iron. It is just the right size for me. The 2 waffles are a full breakfast. It does a better job than the bigger one I had. I like the way it stays clean, I only have to wipe with a moist paper towel. Nice one!

Great for small spaces
Heats up fast. I do keep the waffles longer after the green light comes on. I wait for the steam to subside. The bottom of the waffle is crispier than the top, so I flip them when I put them on the plate to keep he crispy side up. The machine is a good spice for our small home. It’s easy to store. The core isn’t too long. Easy to clean. Don’t use metal utensils on it, it will scrape the nonstick coating.

Broken after just over a month. Don’t waste your money
The bottom cracked around the screws fell off and all the wires are exposed. It’s unusable and can’t be returned. Cheaply made and now it’s trash because I can’t return it. I’ll never buy Procter silex again!!!

Buena Relacion Calidad precio
Esta de buen tamaño para el lunch de los pequeños, calienta bastante, si es tal cual la descripcion dice, me falta encontrar un punto para que no queden tan doraditos, pero en si funciona muy bien.Si tuviera un regulador de temperatura seria un must have
