This book is exceptionally detailed and caters to multiple needs of anybody who is interested in learning about and trying their hands at vegetarian lifestyle. As an amateur in Indian cooking , I have found this book immensely helpful and useful. The author has done an excellent job of taking readers gradually from discussing ‘why’ some foods (their benefits as mentioned in Ayurveda) to discussing how some important raw ingredients can be prepared to finally providing clear and concise instructions about creating appetising recipes. This book is a treasure trove of Ayurvedic principles, benefits of Ayurveda and vegetarian recipes. This book is a culinary experience and author’s creativity, passion and research really shines through. Having tried varies recipes myself, I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves good food and great cooking!

Healthy can be tasty too!
Its an excellent book for those seeking tasty food which is healthy also. The focus nowadays is shifting towards ayurveda, the traditional, vegetarian food which is well balanced and suits our palate, is easy to cook and digest. In this aspect the book is a store house of knowledge containing well researched information, tips and recipes.
