It's just a bit of plastic... BUT it's SO needed to protect your XDJ RX
Ok, so this really is an expensive bit of plastic, TOUGH plastic that is, and it fits perfectly keeping the dust out and hopefully anything from damaging it if something dropped on the lid (I'm not going to test that!). So yes, it's probably overpriced, but anything tailor made where there is little competition in the market is going to be over priced, but it's worth it to protect your XDJ RX.

very pleased with the Decksaver cover for my XDJ-RX, nice snug fit, looks good and the Polycarbonate has a bit of "give" so flexes, which is good as I was slightly concerned that it'd be brittle like the 1210 covers that we all know are so easily damaged

Almost as good value as the Pioneer RMX 1000 stand
Wow! £50 for a bit of plastic. Would expect this to be a fraction of the price. Almost as good value as the Pioneer RMX 1000 stand... £70 for a bit of metal, then again... guess it does have the name 'Pioneer' written on it:S
