Works as advertized
Only downside is the mbps. It topped out at 90 with a cable distance of 1000'. yet for what I needed it was more than enough and for the cost AMAZING!

They just plain work
I needed to get ethernet working over a roughly 770 foot line. I bought these as the most cost effective option, and they worked out of the box. In testing, I set up multiple clients at the far end through a switch and a wifi hotspot, then I went a step further and set up multiple VLANs, and that worked just fine also.In testing, I had about 1200 feet of a collection of twisted pair, coax, and non-twisted pair wiring, and while the total mess of random wiring still worked, speeds dropped to about 30 Mbps, where I was getting over 80 using only twisted pair wiring.Today I finally installed them in the needed location, and they came up immediately.Update a year later. I used these for the intended purpose and they worked just fine. They were then taken out of service and stored for the past year. Today they were set up again and worked immediately, this time using a more complex vlan setup between two routers with no issues.

Best bang for the buck
For a fraction of the price of others, these work just fine for me. Used my exiisting 2 pair underground phone cable (just 1 pr needed) from my house to shed. Used these to get my Eero mesh hard wired and POE switch hooked to my cameras in the pole shed. Have not had an issue with them yet. It's been around 6 months now. I don't need Gig speeds. I only get 65-70m on my DSL in the house, and these suit my needs just fine to extend my network to the shed.

It just worked
I was connecting two structures about 200+ meters apart. Years ago I had buried PVC and pulled Cat5 and Cat6 in various sections. I was getting a weak signal at the 110meter mark for my camera even with POE so looked at various options. I considered POE boosters and other devices that would boost the ethernet signal over the distance but I decided to go with this product because: 1) it only uses two wires to transmit and it can basically be any combination of copper, 2) (I assume) distills the ethernet signal into something that can be sent down 2 wires so shouldn't be as susceptible to Cat5 or Cat6 that is in poor condition, 3) cheaper than other alternatives, 4) plan to eventually push the signal much farther than 200m and will probably use some non-Cat wire that I have.I combined two twisted pairs together (4 wires in each bundle) as you can see from the pictures. Used ferrules to combine the wires. Plugged it in and started up without a hitch. Max possible throughput at the end of the run. Very pleased.I plan to ground the system (they provide a grounding connection) and put a grounded ethernet barrel-connector on the two-wire side; will see if that has an impact on the function or speed. Note: this is 100Mbps max so if you need something faster look elsewhere.

Working flawlessly
I have these connected over 800 ft of RG6 coax. They work without any issue. The units are very light and run very cool. A nice change from the expensive Allied Telesis equipment we were using before that is no longer made.Big thanks to the other reviewer than mentioned all their testing with multiple clients, VLANs, etc.

Appears a bit archaic but works!!
I bought this product to replace some other ethernet POE extenders that stopped working and I was a bit hesitant about it working but I'll be damned if it didn't work right out of the box . . . with no hassles! Installation is simple and straight forward, although I was taken aback a bit because for some reason I thought there was both a In and an Out RJ45 connector on each piece but instead you have to strip the wire back on a pair your LAN cabling to connect it, which again, is simple enough. I hope I get a long-life out of this product as I have ordered another set to get more security cameras up and running!
