This part was a little tricky installing it, something with the ground wire, but my son figured it out. This fridge had not been working as a second fridge for several years, this part was very affordable compared to other online vendors and works great!! My son is so incredibly happy that it works now. Thank you for making it possible to fix it and making this part affordable!!

When I received the board, I was skeptical that I had the correct one. I went to the GE website to confirm this was an updated board for my refrigerator model. I was able to confirm my fridge was on the list of models for the updated board. Turns out GE engineering has made this board compatible for many models.Instructions for install were good but I used my original ground wire because the connectors were different than the new board ground. I could have also used the new ground and added a connector to make it work.After install, I plugged in the fridge and there was no sound of the compressor kicking in for a second or two, then voila, the compressor started and everything was working perfectly! It's been 5 days and working great. Very happy I could diagnose and avoid the cost of a new fridge.

Our refrigerator is working perfectly with the new control board. While I wish the 2 pages of instructions were a little more detailed this install was easy. Because the control board fits so many models it has features our refrigerator apparently does not use. I had to ignore the extra information on cutting wires and so forth as it didn’t seem to match my old board, even though I was worried about it at the time I was installing.Immediately after plugging in the refrigerator the problem of a clicking control board was gone and the system started to cool.It is now not quite 20 hours later and we have a completely working refrigerator that is making ice and dispensing ice and water just fine. And the temperature of the compartments are what they should be.I really couldn’t ask for more. Thanks for the great product!

My ge fridge was not cooling anymore, I took it apart and the coils were solid ice indicating a defrost issue, I removed defrost element it was deteriorated and did not test for continuity, replaced the heater element and high level defrost temp sensor together, still not working right, looked at main control board found bulging capacitors indicating worn out components, I ordered this board and it was a direct fit, in conjunction with the other bad parts, fridge is now working perfect, this board will work but you still need to look at all other components including fans, sensors defrost element and do your due diligence, as far as longevity of this board time will tell but thus far its been a few days and no issues all refrigerator functions working perfect, would reccomend this part, seller was great with communication before and after purchase and delivery
