Does the G300s have a smooth rolling scroll wheel or the type that stops at specific points as it rolls?

It stops rolling as soon as you stop your finger and you can feel the little bumps when you scroll slowly but it is accurate especially if you are playing games with a scroll menu.

How long is the USB cord, and is it braided or plain rubber coated?

The cord is VERY long and there is a rubber coating over the wires. It's very easy to use, and if you want a wired gaming mouse I highly recommend this one!

Has anyone tried this on a Mac using the Logitech Gaming Software?

Logitech has dropped Mac support for Big Sur (OS 11) and later. Only the basic buttons will work and it sounds as if Logitech has no plans to update (read it about on their site).

It’s a really cool mouse, easy to use and programm 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻I like that you can set different colours for different dpi modes + main click, that way I know which one I’m on at a time. It’s light and a good shape too
