Pricey But Absolutely Worth It
The media could not be loaded. One of my horses has a history of attracting ticks. It was not unusual to find 10 to 15 ticks stuck into his neck and chest on a given day, leaving him with huge scabs. He particularly likes snuffing through the leaves in the fall and spring to find the grass, thus the ticks. I have always liked Tri Tec above the others, Along with a new tick and fly supplement (All Species Fly and Tick) Tri Tec has kept him absolutely TICK FREE. Neither of my horses been bothered by flys or have bites so far and it is now June and very hot and pretty wet.. So, do I recommend? Absolutely. It has been a relief.

The best
This fly spray is the best and only thing that works to keep the flies and gnats off my horse honestly. I have tried almost everything else I could get my hands on and for less money but if it doesnt work its a waste of money. This works. Truly works and here in Hawaii nothing lasts as long as its meant to so it says 14 days but it will last about a week or so during good days. Of course weather permitting when it gets humid muggy and rainy, I have to apply more often. This works for my horse and anyone who has tried it ends up getting it themselves. It is a bit more pricey than others on the market but like I said, those dont work for me and this does. Period. Worth every penny.

Best Fly Spray
I have owned and been riding horses my entire life. I've lived in Florida and Texas where it gets super hot and the flies are crazy!!! I have tried many different fly sprays with mixed results. When I found Tri-Tec I was amazed at how well it works. I won't use any other fly sprays!

Battle Against Flies = OVER!
I just moved into a new unit and during the summer, we had a huge issues with flies. I couldn't even open my back door without a fly or two sneaking in! It was annoying since I have 2 dogs that I have to constantly take out to potty. I had fly swatters all around my house, I hated going near the trash can because of the swarm of flies, and there were flies just sitting in the grass and on the side of the unit (I just moved in, so I inherited this problem).I did everything I could to rid the bugs from my side of the open yard (shared among 4 total tenants). I always picked up my dogs' poop, sprinkled diatomaceous earth on the grass regularly, sprayed lavender/peppermint oil extracts on all the corners of the house exteriors, and on some mornings, I would spray my grass with diluted dawn soup. Everything worked... temporarily.I finally found this fly repellant on Amazon and ordered it based off the stellar reviews. Even though it says its for horses, I used it on my back door (yes, I sprayed my back door and trimmings down, sprayed the back windows next to the back door, sprayed the walk ways, and sprayed the trash cans. Within days, the flies were retreating from my side of the unit. I didn't have to worry about opening my back door and having a fly sneak in anymore cause they learned to stay away from my back door. Whatever flying bug landed on my back door also died (as I noticed many dead bugs stuck to my back door now). There were dead flies lying on top of my trash can. Finally, I felt a small victory in this battle...The downside to this is, it's a milky substance. My back door is glass, so after spraying it down with this repellent, I couldn't see through my back door anymore. It leaves behind a residue as well. The smell wasn't so bad. Not sure how toxic this stuff is, but I always wear gloves whenever spraying it.

This and Endure are the only ones that work
This is a great value for the money, absolutely the most cost effective way to buy fly spray. Nothing works as well as this product and it’s Sister product, Endure, which is oil based, while this product, Tri Tec, is water-based. If you really want to get it to last as long as is advertised on the label you have to also use it the way it is recommended on the label and nobody does. The label says to “wet the hair to the skin”. That takes 3/4 or more of a quart spray bottle for the average thousand pound horse. But whether you use it that way and then you don’t need to add any again for many days, or you choose to apply a lighter mist on a daily basis, this product and it’s Sister product Endure are the most effective products on the market. There is actually research done by a college that you can look up online that compared the different fly sprays and try tech and endure came out on top. Tri Tec will runoff if the horse stands in the rain or if you hose the horse off. If you need a waterproof fly spray use Endure. The chemical formulation is the same in Tri-Tec as in Endure the difference is just whether it’s oil based or water-based.

First time I've found a spray that actually lasts
I am really happy with this spray. We live in Hawaii and there are flies and bugs galore due to the humidity. It does say that I need only use it once a week but I have found it to last for me, about 4 days. I don't mind that I used to have to spray every day with the other one I was using. I definitely recommend this product.

Bought this for my dogs
So far so good, im using wipe to put the spray on my dogs so the don’t inhale the mist and it’s not getting in their face. I specifically bought this hoping it will keep the deer flies away. It’s definitely working. They can play in the field now without the flies bugging them, perfect!
