Is this phone works in USA?

May be those phones are coming from different batches (manufactured for different regions) which I think unlikely. Mine phone works in Canada on Rogers network that has the same frequencies as AT&T/T-Mobile. So I am assuming my phone has at least 850/1900 MHz bands. Usually Nokia makes quad band phones 850/900/1800/1900 Here is info from Wikipedia. GSM-1900 and GSM-850 are used in most of North, South and Central America (ITU-Region 2). In North America, GSM operates on the primary mobile communication bands 850 MHz and 1900 MHz. Will this phone work with virgin mobile? virgin mobile uses the sprint system.

This phone will not work with Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile U.S.'s successor, even on their Expanded Data (T-Mobile) network.

Anyone know of any carriers still supporting 3G Towers, so that I could use this phone?
