Product Description Just like the Genius Smart, the i-Genius Multiplayer Smart uses the enhanced resistance unit and software which analyses performance and simulates bike courses very accurately. The wireless motor brake converts the properties of the terrain into resistance on the bike, in a realistic manner. The bike route is displayed on your screen. The motor brake is able to apply a maximum power of 1500 W to the back wheel and will speed up during a descent. The slopes simulated are realistic up to 20 per cent and down to -5 per cent for descents. The i-Genius Multiplayer comes with the upgrade smart to connect to a Windows PC and use the Tacx Trainer software 4, enhanced and a BlackTrack to allow free steering in the TTS 4.The i-Genius Multiplayer Smart communicates via ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart for convenient training sessions using your smartphone or tablet. Performance data can be viewed on several devices simultaneously, including your smartphone, bike computer and sports watch. When the i-Genius Multiplayer Smart isn’t connected to a smartphone, tablet or computer, it behaves as a fluid trainer. This means the trainer behaves progressively: When your speed increases, the resistance increases as well. So it is possible to use this trainer in a stand-alone status. Ok until you have a problem, customer support is useless. All they do is refer you to youtube videos but if that doesn't solve the problem you will be stuck with a trainer £1000 that doesn't work.

An unbelievable piece of kit.A bit fiddly to set up, and i would recommend a proper PC fully specced (i have it set up to a dedicated PC and TV). Does almost everything you could ever want: online racing, virtual reality (the velodrome mode is cool if you've not cycled in one), HD films which mimic the gradients up and down, even GPS google street view rides, downloadable routes as well as programmable power/gradient training. Oh, the segments are downloadable to Strava and of course, you can see all your vital stats (speed, cadence, power, heart rate, gradient) both on screen realtimeand recorded for analysis laterwhat doesn't it do? Well, not sure if it is compatible with other apps; eg Swift or Trainer-road; but I am not sure you would want that in addition to what you have got here. I think you need the ANT-FEC upgrade.in truth the only thing it doesn't do is allow you to "rock and roll" i.e. get out of the saddle. You can, but the bike is fixed beneath youBut thats a minor quibble. Before I got this, I couldn't do more than 45 minutes on my turbo without going stir crazy. I just recently completed a ride of over 5 hours in one go on this. Its epic, and 6 months on I am still only really discovering its full potential. Addictive
