KEF Q250c Center Channel Speaker (Each, White) & Q350 Bookshelf Speakers (Pair, White) (Q350WH)

I bought the Q150's at their sale price of 300. Then I realized that I would need to find a matching center channel and decided that to 250c would fit my needs. As far as I know, this unit doesn't go on sale, but it is impressive and worth it in my opinion. The driver works well in a cabinet due to the uniq driver and the bass response from the woofers is powerful. I'm using mine with a powered sub, but you might opt for just this if in an apartment. Really love this speaker, my only wish is that it didn't cost so much. If you can swing it, go for it!

Pricey….. and not for everyone but gets the job done and excels at it. Realistic sounding center channel replaced a Polk audio center channel. Only real question is ……could I have better sound at a lower price point?

Really is a great center channel. Works well with my Dolby 7.2 atmos system.

Sounds very clear. Great product. I suppose you could spend more money on another brand or larger Center channel but this is great for our room size with Q550 KEF floor standing speakers

Hands down one of the best performing center channels available in my personal opinion. I am no audiophile but I can tell you what I like/love and it's the KEF Q Series for me. The Q250c paired with the Q150 bookshelf speakers is a dream come true for the price point ($300-450 look for sales/refurb).I was able to compare the ELAC Debut 2.0 c5.2, Polk Audio s35, Klipsch rp440c, and even an older Onkyo THX series center channel... The KEF Q250c crushed all of them. The bass response is fast, tight, and thunderous! Mids is rich, full of depth and warm (good warm, not hollow!) Highs/treble is crystal clear, vocals are amazing and true to sound if that makes sense. Most importantly, this KEF q250c DOES NOT LEAVE MY EARS FATIGUED!Find a seller that allows free returns and just buy it. You won't have to replace this set for years to come. Is this as inexpensive as other brands? No. BUT It's the budget upgrade that we've all been looking for so trust me when I say to spend the extra $100 on this center channel or even the bookshelf speakers.

I had purchased the KEF Q150 as left/right in a 5.1 system, and was looking for a KEF center channel. Some people online recommended buying another Q150 to use as the center channel, in order to save money. However, I decided to splurge on this Q250c and am very happy that I did.It sounds great, and for a few weeks I used it without a sub (before buying an SVS sub). I noticed that it created surprisingly wonderful lows. It really makes movies come alive in my media room, and dialogue sounds totally clear.It is quite a beast, and my wife was surprised how large it was. I did buy the magnetic grille, as I was worried about damage from my kids.

Amazon Prime day had these at a $400 discount so couldn't resist. Glad I didn't hesitate, they sound so like like they give you the chills listening to them, like the singers are in the room. Not for heavy bass lovers unless you pair with a sub as I do or listen in a small room. Very inefficient so a decent powered amp is needed, I use it with a Sonos Amp 125wpc and the speakers sound great. The amp connects to my B&W PV1 sub and my Technics SL1500c turntable and blends into my Sonos system really well for whole house listening. Superb speakers if you can get a good deal on them.

Habe die q250c nun seit ein paar Wochen und mir war einfach nicht klar was ein guter Centerspeaker ausmacht,egal ob bei Musik oder Kino.Ich habe mir den Center aus Neugier zum Testen bestellt, weil ich wegen des Preises etwas skeptisch war aberletztendlich muss ich sagen, dass dieser einfach nur gerechtfertigt ist!Hut ab KEF

Der Q250 macht einen guten Job als Center, bei mir begleitet er 4 x die Q350 und das funktioniert hervorragend. Der Schall verteilt sich enorm gut im Raum und bleibt sehr gut ortbar.Die Lieferung erfolgte schnell, die Ware war super sicher verpackt.

It is a good centre speaker to pair with two Q350.Sound is good for movies.
