Pen Cutter

These are fantastic for opening boxes, incl. cutting tape and straps. Two varieties, on this one, you have to hold the slider to keep the blade extended. That's 'extra safe,' and unnecessary in my opinion. The ORANGE VERSION of the Slice knife lets you leave the blade out. But either one is a GREAT TOOL for anyone who shops by mail and opens lots of boxes. GET ONE! (But get the Orange one).

This pen cutter has been a great addition to my everyday work setup. The pen-style design makes it easy to keep in a shirt pocket, so I always have a cutter handy without carrying a bulky utility knife. The ceramic blade is sharp enough to handle tape, boxes, shrink wrap, and other packaging materials while still being much safer than a traditional metal blade. I also appreciate the auto-retracting feature, which adds an extra layer of safety after each cut. Like other Slice products I've used, the blade has stayed sharp for a long time, reducing the need for replacements. It's well made, comfortable to use, and perfect for light to medium-duty cutting tasks. Overall, this is an excellent safety cutter for the office, warehouse, or anyone who regularly opens packages. I'd definitely recommend it.

Slice has gained a new fan! Purchased over 1 year ago and still as sharp and safe as ever have not even turned the ceramic blade over! -Pros: -Safe to the touch ( Obviously don't be trying to cut finger with it) -Ceramic blade that last a long time over a year strong now -Quick retractable feature with enough grip to prevent slipping -Easy of use Cons: - Would be nice if the whole shaft had some type of grip if your hands get sweaty it can slip a little This is a definite recommend especially if you have kids (Teenagers) and elderly that love to open amazon packages!

I was looking for a box cutter to open the constant flow of Amazon boxes that come through our place. I chose a ceramic blade because I felt that the blade would stay sharper longer and therefore just work better longer at opening boxes. When the blade arrived, I felt it was well enough made and that it was ergonomic to hold. I opened my first boxes and it cut through tape and cardboard very good, no snags or hitches. There are only two issues that I have found with this box cutter. 1. There is enough play in the blade as its mounted and relative to the handle that often times I've found the cutting motion to be to not as precise when trying to cut straight. 2. Although I understand that auto retraction is probably better for safety, I would like at least three fixed open positions, especially to open boxes which may have delicate items in them where I would need a reduced cutting depth. If I knew of the first negative prior to purchase, I would have looked for a different box cutter. If these two negative were corrected in a subsequent revision, I think it would be just right.

What a perfect little tool! Opening packages can be a pain, but this thing slices right through everything, yet is much safer to use than a blade.

These are great! Convenient to carry in my bag, no worries about it sliding forward since it’s on a spring, easy to wipe off, stays clean, no issue with rusting like the metal razors and it’s sharp!

Its made of a rather sturdy plastic material and the blade is sharp on boxes, tape, and stickers, but a gentle slide across the blade won't cut the skin (just dont press too much or it will cut skin too). The retractable nature of it makes it really quick and easy to use while the slim size makes it a perfect fit in my pocket.

Safe and rugged. Will last forever as it won’t rust like other cutters.

He podido cortar bien cartón, blisters de plástico de esos que son un dolor de cabeza abrir, y papel. El tiempo dirá si le dura el filo tanto como dicen.
