Does what I wanted.
Product was as described, arrived when promised, and works as it should. Only 4 stars, simply because I have only used it briefly, and have not had time to explore its full potential or durability. I use mine on a Nikon D750. The receiver is made to fit the hot shoe, but it is not required to be in the hot shoe to work. I wondered if it would work, simply hanging from the camera, with an external flash mounted to the hot shoe. It does indeed. The cable plugs into the D750 accessory connector - a very small connector indeed. I did not want the receiver hanging from the connector itself, so I used a bread wrapper tie to hold the cable to the camera strap eyelet, taking all strain off the camera connector, while letting the receiver hang free. Even though the receiver was not oriented toward the remote, it worked flawlessly. The camera would focus, shoot, and fire the hot shoe mounted flash, just as if the on camera shutter release had been pressed. It worked for me in broad daylight, at a greater distance than the nikon ml-l3 infared remote can reach. Finally, the remote and receiver both use AAA batteries, not some hard to find button type battery - another plus in my opinion.

Just What The Doctor Ordered!
OK, so I've only had it for a few days, and no, I haven't gotten around to reading the instructions yet. I know it has lots of features and benefits but I just installed batteries, turned them on, plugged the receiver into the camera and started shooting. Plug and play. Works perfectly. I'm going to test it for longer distances in the next few days but so far it works great from 30' through walls. I am a happy camper.

The only issue I encountered with this product is that ...
The only issue I encountered with this product is that the sensor covers up the built-in flash of my Sony camera so I pop up the flash attachment fist then install the shutter release remote control. This remote control does not always work as I have to focus the transmitter directly at the camera

Great for stop motion movies.
This thing is great... I use it all of the time to stop and start my camera video recording... I can half press the shutter button to focus also... I use it for stop motion too... with it being wireless I don't have to worry about any cords and I can move around with the controller and focus then shoot without being near my camera... love it...

Good inexpensive remote shutter release.
I use this often for taking landscape photos and waterfalls and a slow shutter speed. This allows me to release the shutter with touching the camera on a tripod. This is my second purchase, I lost the first one on a photo shoot in the mountains.

Astrophotography
Bought this to use for my astrophotography hobby. Easy to use and versatile. I can use it wired or wireless. Uses the standard AAA battery. This avoids having to buy those smaller special batteries that cost a lot more.

Excellent camera remote
This is one great camera remote. The instructions that come with it are almost useless but if you go online and google the product you'll find some really good practical instructions. When used with my camera gear the device worked perfectly. Fantastic that someone finally came up with a way to do camera remote when the camera mfg. could not (or would not).

works like it should!
Works great. Did what it's supposed to do. we used for family photos and we were able to stand far enough to get scenery and still catch the photo. I just wish the remote was a bit smaller but other than that its great.

Great piece of kit
What a great piece of kit for the 7D for lemonade money, works exactly as described, just one observation is pay particular attention to the positive and negative marks inside the units and not the contact oriantation, having only just recieved it i will give it a months trial before i purchace another as a slve for the other camera, other than that i have no hesitation in recommending this product.

Haywire!
I bought a different remote trigger just 2 weeks ago but had to return it because the batteries drained after a few hours, no ON/OFF switch, so I ordered this one instead. Good reviews. I first noticed that the battery orientation in the receiver was wrong. Both springs are at one end yet the + sign of one side indicates to place + on the spring end. The unit worked for about 10 shots, then it wouldn't turn off. I had to take the battery out then replace for it to work again. Then it wouldn't close the exposure on Bulb. Then it wouldn't fire at all. Then the transmitter's batteries drained after about 90 mins even with the light off. I'm starting to get a little annoyed, as I need to do some long exposure work. Now I will have to step up in price further to get a better unit. Shame because I like the look of it.

Solid performer
I have been wanting to get a shutter release for a while. This has been useful and has many functions, including timelapse. It is not intuitive, but repeated use does help and I find it usable now.I have only given it 4 stars, because it is not straightforward to use. I have nit really stretched it, fro example with timelapse or tried to set it off from a distance.

Remote triggering solved
Purchased solely on the need for a remote triggering solution and the reviews of the product on Amazon. Worked straight out the box with my Sony cameras. I also purchased a Canon specific lead making the product doubly useful across two different platforms. Good build quality and eminently useful addition to my arsenal. Can't wait to use it in anger soon.
