paring Knife project using copper accents
I like making knives and this one was for my sister-in-law, a paring knife with copper pins and accent shem along the spine of the knife. the handle scales are a Brazilian wood. The Copper gives the knife a beautiful rustic look, and the Damascus steel blade adds a durable and sharp edge. My first knife with copper and C110 copper sheet was easy to work with, a little tricky sanding due to the strangeness of copper. A little sandpaper and some file work made it turn out beautiful.

Nice little blade
Overall, this blade is worth the money. The pattern was pretty standard but 10 hours in a coffee solution really brought it to life. I’ll buy again.

I purchased this as a gift
My daughter has fallen in love with Damascus kitchen cutlery. In order to prevent her from buying a bunch of it all at once I began building her a matching set piece by piece, once I learned of her appreciation for this really nice cutlery. I told her if my builds were not satisfactory to let me know and I would not be offended. Thankfully, for my ego, she has really liked them. I am building them with cherry handles, and a turquoise resin mix. She likes the combo. This paring knife is thin, yet strong, and easy to obtain a sharp edge and it holds it well. I am very pleased with it and more importantly, so is my daughter.

Not the size they say
They say blade length is 4.5 inches but the blade is only 3 1/4. I'm sending them back.

It's okay. Good for the price
Damascus pattern was alright, would have liked to see more of the carbon removed from the handle. Edge is pretty crumby, but with some sharpening it can cut. Overall good for the price

Solid
Good quality knife. Decently sharp out of the box. I just wrapped the handle in twine for a good grip.
