HouYeenTurbo Boost Pressure Converter Control Solenoid Valve for Sa-ab 95 Astra H J Corsa D Insignia A Meriva B Zafira Mk3 Malibu

This is a standard repleacement boost valve solenoid. Seems to fit a range of vehicles.I bought to solve the P0299 code on my Astra 1.6 CDTI.It is NOT the correct fitting for this - the plug connector is different and the vacuum line connections are 90 degrees in the wrong direction.However with a bit of modificaction to the connector & a bodged mount it replaced the old one and demonstrated that this indeed was the issue with boost control.Check it's a correct fitting before you buy - I've now bought the correct one (over twice the price!) - the valve itself works a treat and allowed me to prove what the issue was.This does match the CORRECT valve for a range of other models!

Insignia A - A20DTHAfter fitting this by boost was incredibly inconsistent, turbo boosting then dumping every second. Felt like a roller coaster under heavy acceleration.My old faulty part performs better!Don't waste your money. Buy an OEM or Pierburg. I wish I hadn't wasted my time and money on this. It's been returned.Good job they're easy to replace!

Looks exactly like the part I needed for my insignia (A20DTE engine) it functions in the car, as you would expect, but the turbo kicks in hard, not smooth like the original part, and when you get to higher revs the throttle fluctuates, I put the old part back on and it seems to have fixed it (old part is still bad, but is OK when cold) so I'm going to have to buy genuine to fix this

Had a mooing noise on my insignia. Needed one next day so took a punt.......item was fitted but car still made a moo noise and boost was non existent still.Bought an oem valve...no problem on the carSo the advice. Buy oem on these solenoids...not a China one
