Why Didn’t I Buy This 3 Years Ago!?
Three years ago, I bought a cheap telescoping curtain rod and then paid quite a bit for nice curtains. Every single night, for three years, I have yanked the curtains over the bump, cursing and slowly making my curtains dingy looking and frayed. I have had this tape in my Amazon cart the entire time, but I didn’t want to pay this absurd price. It costs about 4x what I paid for the rod! I recently was so fed up that I posted photos of my window online in a decorators forum and asked others how to solve this issue. I wound up buying a plastic curtain puller rod, didn’t work. Tried making a ramp over the bump out of packing tape, didn’t work. Tried a ramp made out of a tape measure taped onto the rod (haha yes, leave it to YouTube), didn’t work for long. After three years, I pulled the trigger on this. I didn’t realize it does require buying enough tape to cover the entire rod, so be sure to buy one long enough to cover the whole thing. It also comes with some alcohol wipes to clean any dust and oil off the rod and then you just stick this down tape across the rod, just like a sticker. It’s a firm plastic, allowing a smooth glide for curtain grommets to go over it. It stuck right away, even on my skinny cheap rod. The first time I slid those curtains over it - OOOOOH! I cheered out loud. It’s like a warm knife through butter! Smooth, quieter, fuss free, no yanking. I regret I didn’t buy this years ago when my curtain and rod would have been in better shape, but I am beyond thrilled to have it now!!! Absolutely five solid stars! (Though, I wish the seller would lower the price. It should be like $10! But it’s worth it!)

Completely solved the problem of curtain rings catching as curtains were opened/closed.
It was curtains for us. Over our sliding patio door, that is. But we're not that slick. On the curtain rod, that is. The curtain rings that slide along the rod were catching where each section of the rod came out of a slightly larger diameter tube. Until we used this tape--which made a huge difference! One of those 'Wow!' moments when a product surprises you with how well it works. Tape's been up for a year now and no significant change in how well the curtain slides. Also, you can't really see it from anywhere in the room. (Curtain rod is probably 7.5 or 8 ft. high, though.)

Silent, Smooth, and Life-Changing for Curtain Rods
This completely solved one of my daily annoyances: Curtain rings catching on the rod and making a horrible scraping racket every time I opened or closed them. With these, the curtains glide smoothly and quietly with almost no effort. It was easy to install and made an immediate difference. It honestly feels like such a small upgrade, but the improvement in function (and noise reduction) is huge. This is absolutely going on every curtain rod in my house going forward. If you’re tired of fighting with stuck, noisy curtain rings, these are 100% worth it.

Long curtain rod requirement!
Amazing. The rings slide so smoothly and no longer get stuck every time I close them. They’re quiet now too.

Love this and will buy again!
I hate to say that a curtain ring slide has been life changing, but this has been amazing! Way better than I expected. I was prepared for it to have a somewhat sticky/plasticky feel as the curtains slide across it, but I couldn't have been more wrong. This helps my curtains slide effortlessly across the bar and over uneven intersections. Installation was pretty easy too. I highly recommend this if you're having any curtain gliding issues.

Glides beautifully
The first two listings for this product list the length offered, and the third does not. But the third listing is for the largest offering which is 24 feet. So a little more clocking and due diligence on my part, but also a little more transparency on yours, would help your customers out more, maybe save them a bit more money....and risk.. I had to basically buy one roll per window.. because there wasn't enough left per roll once I did each window, to do another. 144 inches per 12 ft roll and each of my windows was a minimum of 88 inches. Realizing I was potentially facing placing a third order (I had 1.5 rolls left and have to do two windows upstairs, which one roll would suffice) I looked online to see that you offer large rolls, but don't label them as such). Extremely annoyed, I decided to split my last window up into two pieces, rather than give you extra money. Despite the instructions saying not to use multiple pieces/other reviews advising against it, this is working fine for me. I think this is because my two pieces meet in the middle of the middle anchor, where rings cannot cross, so therefore they cannot get caught on a seam. So if you find yourself in a situation where you must use more than one roll, plan for seams to be where your support rings are. This has worked beautifully for me. Otherwise installation was easy. I love this so much. It has solved the problem of our rings getting stuck on the bar/not getting over the bump. Also has made them practically silent. We have pottery barn rods, ivilon 2" curtain rings, vision home curtains. Lost a star for not including the length of the drape tape in the listing.

Solved the problem- my drapery slides open and closed easily!
This was the perfect solution so that my drapery did not catch in the spots the rod was extended. I spent a month in our new house trying to figure out what to do - climbing on a stepladder every night and every morning got old fast. This was really easy to install. After a year there the ends did curl up a bit but I just taped them down with clean tape and it’s working just as well as it did!

Slick (in a good way)
I did not even know this stuff existed and discovered it when trying to troubleshoot a curtain rod that kept getting the rings caught on it. Not only did it solve the problem with the connection portion of the rod but allows the rings to glide along the entire length more smoothly (and silently). It was slightly tricky to install with the curtains already hanging, but we figured it out and couldn't be happier with the results!

Resentfully saying this is the best thing ever
Did I overpay since this is essentially sticky plastic? Yes. Is it also the best nonessential item I’ve ever bought? Absolutely. My partner and I love this thing. My curtains glide like butter. It’s insanely satisfying. I want to buy one for every curtain in the house.

A great solution!
This stuff is great, we have a bar in our shower and there’s a lip that the rings kept getting caught on. I thought either try this or get a new bar. This works amazing, it’s held strong even in the humidity of the bathroom.

Very smooth
I have an adjustable curtain rod and my heavy insulated drapes would be difficult to open and shut. They kept getting stuck on the adjustable part of the rod. Once I attached the strip they glide very easily.
