Fantastic controller! My opinion, the best replacement for a wave bird
I have bought almost every current wireless controller that is compatible with the original Nintendo GameCube /Wii console and I gotta say that this particular controller is by far the best alternate solution than the original Nintendo Wavebird. I know a lot of people say that it may feel cheap or whatever but my main concerns are responsiveness. Such as for super smash Brothers Melee, how responsive is the controller? By far the best responsiveness and it feels just like a Nintendo switch controller almost so I really like that! I love that the L & R bumpers are basically triggers and it’s so much easier to shield and dodge with them than even the original GameCube controller. Again, not everybody feels the same way that I do, but I have bought several of these two for me and some for friends and we enjoy them greatly! And as a bonus, you can use them on the original Nintendo switch since it has a USB dongle receiver included

A great third party wireless gamecube
A decent and better quality wireless Gamecube controller. Been using this controller for months and everything is working almost flawlessly. Almost for there are a few moments where the controller would have lost connection or a single input is stuck on direction. A reset always fixes this not a huge dealbreaker. Loved the way it feels for it feels better than most other third party controller and I perfered this than the standard Gamecube controller. No input lag from my time with it and since I have two of them both connect to the same Gamecube with no issues either. You get great controller for what you paid for.

ATTENTION SWITCH PLAYERS
The controller itself is nice, although the triggers can take some getting used to since it wont register an input until fully pressed. However, the instructions are extremely vague and you actually need a GameCube adapter for your switch to use it. !!!IT WILL NOT WORK WITHOUT THE WIRELESS DONGLE!!! I tried for hours before I came to this realization. It's a nice controller but there are actual wireless alternatives. Think before you buy.

Wireless Rumble for GameCube
The Retro Fighters GameCube BattlerGC is a pretty awesome controller! It includes two dongles, one USB (PC/Switch) and a GameCube dongle for well, GameCube. It also works with Wii but requires a Wii with GC ports and Wii U requires the official adapter. For a 3rd party controller the buttons are probably the closest to original feel that you can get. I did run the the ranges and they are a little bit larger, but for some games this works out better, like first person shooters, it's easier to pull off shots. Although I am not at all a Smash Player or great at smash so that could be a different story for someone getting this for smash.

Modern take on a classic design
First and foremost, if you want an original Gamecube controller... this isn't it. That said, this is a great modern take on that controller. The face buttons feel as expected, the left analog stick is tight and precise, and the dpad (while not great) is miles better than the OEM. I used this for dolphin primarily, but was pleasantly surprised with it on my Wii and Gamecube. The rumble on the controller is pretty bad, but perhaps this is something that can be addressed in a firmware update since it does use full sized motors (based on my teardown). I wish the triggers clicked when fully depressed, but the analog triggers do work. I am also mixed on the right thumbstick, the full thumbstick feels better but isn't as authentic. All in all, if you don't wanna spend over $100 for a Wavebird or you want a similar feeling for Dolphin, this is a great go to. Pros: - Orbital face buttons - Octagonal stick gate - Analog Triggers - Adapter for both Gamecube and USB connections Cons: - Lightweight and cheap feeling - Analog triggers don't click - Placement of "+" and "-" buttons - Rumble kinda sucks Mixed: - The right thumbstick is a full sized stick

The best GameCube controller to own.
This controller is amazing. No input lag at all and works great. I now can sit on my couch while playing games, and not have to sit close to the system. It comes with a dongle that lets u immediately pair with the controller. I definitely recommend it.

Best 3rd party wireless Gamecube controller on the market!
I cannot say enough good things about this controller. First off it is very comfortable in the hand. It doesn't feel exactly like the original Wavebird but that doesn't matter. Second, there is no lag that I can tell. Third, the control sticks are just the right sensitivity. I have another third party wireless Gamecube controller and the control sticks are WAY to sensitive. You can't play a game like Splinter cell with it my opinion. Fourth, the price! Way less then the original Wavebird. Plus this has a rumble feature unlike the Wavebird. Not bad mouthing the Wavebird just like this controller alot more. And lastly, the description said 10 hours of play on a charge. I got almost 20. I have no complaint on that.

Does not connect to Dongle or work on its own
Was really looking forward to getting this controller for my switch. Plugged in the dongle to my USB port. On my screen it said “Device paired” and I hadn’t even turn on the controller. Turned on the controller, it connected as Player 1 and I got nothing. Nothing responded, couldn’t move left, right or anything, no bottoms worked. So I decided to try my other base, still nothing. So then I decided to connect my other wireless controller with the new one still on. My other controller connected to Player 1 also, then the new one all of a sudden started working. But only when my other controller was active. I turned off my other controller, and all of a sudden the new one stopped working. Turned on my other controller again, then all of a sudden it’s working. Tried to go to grip order with my other one to connect my new one, and it would not. Does not work the way it’s supposed to at all and is unusable.

Wasn't compatible with the computer...
I was very sad and upset, because it was not versatile and that was the only reason why I ordered this one. But then, the vendor was amazing and just refunded me. Other than that... it is a GameCube controller; one that feels incomparably better to hold than others.

Pc/switch works great….switch 2 not so much
Works well with the switch but no update available to support the switch 2. Still worth the buy if you use for pc though

Funktioniert super. Habe The Wind Waker GC damit durchgezogen (mein erstes Mal) und sitze gerade an OoT (Ship of Harikian).
