Not sterile but useful
As other reviewers have said these are not sterile or individually wrapped. Fortunately I am not using them as mouth swabs but to clean inside a person's hand where the tendons have freezed and the fingers have become rigid with the likelihood of infection if not cleaned. These totally do the the job for that and was a recommendation by the OT.Good value for money for the purpose that I am using them.

Good quality
I have bought many different swabs these being slightly more expensive. However the quality of the stick and sponge is excellent and did not fall apart even after she tried bitting the sponge off. I would recommend these for anyone needing mouth care but wish companies made the price more reasonable.

All good if used with care.
The item is perfect for its purpose. The soft sponge allows me to give a little oral care rather than increasing fluid intake for my client who has no swallow reflex. I would advise this is not suitable for anyone who might bite the stick so I would only use it on the outside of teeth and gums.

Not Sterile & Sponges Come Off Stick
Ok quality - no issues - but NOT sterile as advertised. Arrived in a dusty plastic bag which was burst.Updated: One of the sponges came off in use and was retained inside the patient's mouth. This nearly choked her and I had to get nurses to remove it.Avoid this product completely - TOO DANGEROUS.

Good quality sponges
Love it for my disabled son. Plastic stick so does not disintegrate. Tbe sponge is also nicely attached. More expensive than others however worth it

Used for my mum who was end of life, seemed to do the job well in keeping mouth area moist and cleaning the gunk, would highly (however sadly of course) recommend if in similar position
