Bought an Odyssey case since they used to have a pretty good reputation back in the day, but the case I received was trash. Had defects, poor build quality on the inside, and just overall seemed like they rushed the production on it. What's the deal with the upside-down handle Odyssey?? (apparently the negative reviews were accurate). Returned it after a week and went with ProX since I had owned a case of theirs previously (the all black SX case) and had no issues.Received this case and appreciated it that much more. Also seems even better built than the last ProX case I had, not sure if they did an update? Either way, perfect for my SX3's, love the room under the SX3's to hide cables during events and can hide my headphones, a wireless mic, and business cards. Oh and it actually has wheels!**Insider Tip: Pro X does love to stamp their logo on the case, but for the glued on plastic logos on the front, hit them with a heat gun on med-high setting and peel away, they come off pretty clean. Any tiny bit of residue left can be wiped off with alcohol wipes while it's still warm. (This also works on those ugly dealership logos they love to stamp on the back of cars)For the screwed on metal logo, you can either unscrew and reverse it and have a blank metal plate, or get the blank side engraved or covered with a sticker of your performer logo/name. I just left it because once I get the plastic ones off it's not nearly the overkill it is when fresh out of the box.

This case is NO JOKE. It's less expensive than an Odyssey or a Gator case, but do not let that put you off. This case is heavy and built like a tank. Looking at pictures online does not do it justice. I had reservations about the laptop shelf, because my laptop is on the heavy side of things and I was worried about it tipping the case over. Let me tell you, even without the controller in the case and the shelf fully extended, it held my Asus ROG G751 like a champ! No movement or tipping whatsoever.I've heard some people having difficulty moving the shelf back and forth, but I have no such problems. From what I've read, just spray some WD-40 and you're good to go.So that's it... if your still on the fence, I'm just letting you know I vouch for this product.

Only reason I gave it a 4 star was because I thought it came with locks so I can lock it during transport. I like the honey comb finish, the legs on the bottom, a little stiff on the laptop tray but that's nothing too bad. Big space under the ddjsx2 for a dbx drive rack or wireless mic set reciever. IT HAS WHEELS. Very rugged and durable, better then my other flight case from native instruments which was thin wood and very low profile. But THIS CASE, is really good. Only gripe is no locks which I thought it had :/

I have enjoyed this case thus far. The only reason that I did not give it 5 stars is that the aluminum lip on the sliding shelf that prevents items from slipping forward has a sharp edge that is uncomfortable to rest on when accessing a laptop. It is not sharp enough to cut you, though.

Definitely worth it for the price

Decent case for the price. Definitely not as "robust" as the Odyssey cases I have. Paneling feels a bit light, but get's the job done. Biggest beef with this item is that it's designed for multiple controllers of different sizes. They should include additional padding for optional use. The fit for my DDJ-SX is ok, but I had to pick up additional padding to make it more of a snug fit.

It's great that this case has wheels, makes it WAYYYY easier to carry my SX2. Padding holds the controller securely, it is a good height and made very well. The top shelf stuck for a while and was a bit tough to move back and forth, but some WD-40 solved that in about 5 seconds. Great case for the money.

Exactly what I wanted. Very heavy. My only complaint is how stiff the laptop desk is when sliding in and out.
