Alkaline Water (ph Test Kit) for Drinking Water Measures pH Level of Water More Accurately Than Test Strips pH Starter Kit Drops Easy to Use

First off, this is not a "test kit" per se. It is a dropper bottle of a pH test solution and you will need to provide your own "test tube" in which to conduct the tests... which is not a problem for me... just need to provide your own jigger-sized glass or plastic (clear, no color) to hold the recommended (2 tsp... 10ml) water sample. The tests are very easy to run and the results are instantaneous and unambiguous... as long as you only need to know the general pH of the water sample... gives it to you as pH 4.0, 6.0, 7.0, 8.0, 9.0, or 10.0... essentially acidic, neutral, or alkaline. Its obviously suitable for high-level testing of, e.g., well water but not suitable for things that require a more detailed value for pH, e.g., fish tanks and swimming pools. I have a well and water-treatment system in my home and, for me, this is perfect for testing to determine when the limestone media in my neutralization tank needs replacement. In that respect, it gives a quick, accurate, and visually-unambiguous result.

Great product to test the alkalinity of my water, and how to help change the PH of my water. Great product for the price, and it gives me an idea of where I want my water to be.

Works great. I've bought two.

This works for tap water. In fact, it's the only product that worked at all for tap water for me. None of the strips worked. Note that it shows only whole integer values, not tenths. It showed my tap water having a pH of 8. Post-RO demineralized pH was 7. Upon using a remineralization cartridge, the post-RO pH was at least 9. Note that the color for 9 and 10 is practically impossible to tell apart in the sample.

Came on time as advertised. They worked really well. Theya re used to give you a good reading of your faucet water. In this case My well water. easy to read and very helpful.

I would get this is zero star if possible. Total rip off! How accurate can it be when the instructions say to mix two or three drops in 2 teaspoons of wate? Is 2 teaspoons enough? If so, why also recommend three which is 50% more? The seller should be banned from Amazon.!

not working at all. please don't buy. Useless product. waste of money.

There were two directions to follow, one said 2 drops to water being tested and the other said 2 to 3 drops to 2 tsp of water. I did both and the color of the water didn’t match anything on the chart. There wasn’t a clear tube included in the package which ended up being a hassle.
