🚀 Elevate Your FPV Experience!
The AKKFX3 is a high-performance FPV VTX that offers switchable power levels of 25mW, 200mW, 400mW, and 600mW, ensuring you have the right power for any situation. With a wide input voltage range of 7-24V and a 5V output for cameras, this VTX is designed for versatility. Its one-button setup and OSD configuration via Betaflight make it user-friendly, while filtered power guarantees clean video, making it a must-have for racing enthusiasts.

Updated from one star
The media could not be loaded. video was recorded at 600 milliwatts on my phone with an analog to digital receiver so the static is greatly exaggerated. I never did get smart audio or the built-in OSD working but I did make a mistake failing to route the video through my f3 Magnum flight controller that had its own integrated OSD that I originally thought was integrated into the original VTX that the stack came with which is fine because all I really wanted was the crosshairs and low battery warning to land anyway. If you're trying to make smart audio work on a f3 Magnum FC it's not going to work because the most recent firmware for Omnibus is older than the necessary 4.1 required for smart audio compatibility. As for overheating the VTX that tends to happen when the ambient temperature is above about 90° if you allow enough cool down time between flights, keep it in the shade and get it flying quickly after powering on so you can get air flow over it it'll be fine. If you start getting watery and technicolored distortions in the video feed it's probably overheating so power it off immediately and cool it down! That's happened to me a couple times now and it's still working fine.Outstanding VTX by AKK well done!

works, kinda sketch
transmitter gets very hot, does not work above 25mw, and just about fried my fpv plane's receiver. Would return it, but had to cut connectors for it to work with my camera to even test it. Gave two stars because it does technically work, but there are better options out thereOne week later, updating review: turns out it wants much more than 5v so that is my bad. Put it straight into the 11v 3c battery, instead of the receiver. It does transmit at the full 600mw now, but even with higher voltage it gets pretty hot, and with no sort of heatsink, makes me think it isn't long for this earth.

Works great for me
After frying my Speedybee VTX I figured I'd try this one. It has been working perfect for me so far. It connects to Betaflight with no problem and the OSD appears as it should.

Garbage, worked for 2 min then never worked again.
AKK makes complete trash. It's no reason they are the cheapest and are always in stock. I tried their garbage for the last time. COMPLETE TRASH, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. RushFPV makes quality components that work every time. AKK IS GARBAGE, DO NOT BUY!!!

Usually AKK Products are ligit this bad craftsman ship
I never was able to use the pin header connection broke off after 1 plug and unplug . , I have an ultimate that’s been in like 3 builds and abused and sytill works great , AKK can make good quality parts . Not in the case of my VTX.

Smart Audio control in Betaflight OSD and 20x20 mounting holes!
Using SA to control channel and power levels is a whole new level of convenience for all FPV pilots. Betaflight OSD shows that the FX3 I have goes up to 800mW. Not sure where the dependencies are from but it would be nice to know the actual output levels. The video feed is crystal clear using a dipole antenna and there is no noise seen from throttle movements. I'm using 5volt and 12volt BEC from DYS 4in1 ESC to power all the camera gear so that could also be the reason. Absolutely love the extra control from Betaflight OSD. There is also pit mode that you can configure to a toggle switch in "Modes" tab that puts your VTX in a lower power state. I'm done wasting money on cheap VTXs that break or don't have the needed features after experiencing this one.

Convenient, compact, and full of features.
So far, this thing is great. I built an Airblade Eclair 2.5" (129mm wheelbase microquad). The VTx is tiny. I ended up with a stack comprised of a DYS 18A 4-in-1 on the bottom, a DYS Micro F4 flight controller, and this AKK sitting on top. It's a perfect fit in a tiny space. It's not clear unless you know what you're looking for, but if you take the UART lead and connect it to one of your TX UARTS on your FC, and if your FC supports the SmartAudio protocol, then you can actually configure your radio setup through your OSD in your goggles using your controller.

Better than TBS, fraction of the price.
Solid, gets a little hot, but that is normal.I pulled out all the TBS Unify garbage and replaced with this unit and am very happy. Same range as Unify but not a pile of maggot filled garbage. Some key points I like:-The MMCX connection is nice, allows a new level of clean build and repairability.-The main connector is my favorite connector, unlike the Molex pico-blade used by TBS and others that pop off the PCB too easy.-Form factor is amazing, none of that wonky crap engineering of TBS and others where you need to take it in the twins just to get a solid mount.-Range is same or better than UnifyI like this so much I am moving these into the entire fleet and threw away all my TBS junk. The purchase reviewed here is form my expanding the use of the VTX.Anyone buying TBS is a fool, there are many great seemingly stable products out there like this one, no need to waste your money on Trappy and his band of internet trolls and sexist pigs.
