Great
It prints labels instantly, it’s nothing like an inkjet. Works fine with third party label refills which are way cheaper. To set it up you just have to download the tool from their website, I have a Mac and once I found the right tool it was easy.

Great for time travellers
Fantastic if you are currently living in 1995 and have a Windows 95 machine. If you are living in the present, its likely to crash your computer, remove your mouse, corrupt many windows settings, and you'll also have an INCREDIBLY difficult time trying to get it to connect to WIFI. Brother, great hardware, but they sacked the software guy 30 years ago and never replaced him it seems. Will be sending this back.

Wifi connection issue
Printer arrived in box that was already opened, noticed that some of the instructions were written on but didn't think much of it, installed drivers, setup WiFi etc printer worked as described and was brilliant, today when switched on WiFi option not available, tried to contact brother but there appears to be an issue with the model option. I have a number of brother printers in the office all of which have proved ultra reliable over the years. Hopefully this issue can be resolved in a speedy fashion so I can upgrade the feedback to a higher star rating. Further update after contacting Brother customer support, they provided a simple fix and the printer is absolutely brilliant. Confident that the printer will provide excellent service over the coming years.

very difficult to get working

Brilliant label printer
This printer took a little bit of getting to know, but within an hour, I'd gone through and set it up on my network and been able to print labels remotely. The instructions are quite clear but could be better in places. The shining star though is the software, with many presets which cover a lot of use cases and make it quick and easy to design the labels that you need. Would certainly recommend to anybody who needs a reliable label printer that needs to be used from multiple devices (did you realise they even have a mobile app)

Brother support non-existent
I had this for a month before the paper labels started jamming. I contacted Brother Support, provided them with my Amazon purchase invoice and a picture of the genuine Brother paper labels that were jamming. They said their support people would get back to me, but I heard nothing more (despite emailing them several times). I will now be making a complaint to the Trading Standards and filing a claim with the small.claim's court. Avoid Brother products, their guarantee and support is an absolute joke.
