OEM or go home!
I have tried refillable toner cartridges (messy pain-in-the-butt) and inexpensive remanufactured toner cartridges that waste more tine and paper than I could ever have imagined. These OEM toner cartridges are decidedly more expensive but the print quality is sharp and free of streaks, missed spots, and speckles. Less time and paper is wasted plus the frustration level is lower … much lower. The 49X is perfectly compatible with my 22 year-old HP 1320 LaserJet. Just make certain that your vendor sells only in-date cartridges!

6000+ pages
I've been using an HP1320 laser printer for about 8 years. So far, I've gone through the original toner cartridge, which should have lasted 2500 pages, and a single Q5459X cartridge, which was supposed to have lasted 6000 pages. My printer tells me that it has printed 8722 pages, and I've just installed my second Q5459X. It was nice to find that these cartridges last for at least as long as they're supposed to. HP's estimates are just about perfect. I use my laser primarily to print text. Illustrated documents go to an inkjet printer nearby.I've had no hitches with these toner cartridges, including the one I've just installed. I've tried the far less expensive toner cartridges on other printers and have not found the quality to be up to snuff. It's not worth it to me to save less than a penny per page if I'm going to get banding, variation in blacks among sentences, or need for more frequent replacement. The downside, of course, is that at first glance, this price seems ridiculously high. Let's face it: you can buy a brand new HP LaserJet Pro P1606dn for just $20 more, or the P1102w for $15 less. And they include a toner cartridge. But the toner included there is a starter cartridge and you'll shortly find yourself wanting to buy a real toner cartridge. And there they are, for a slightly higher price per page than you'll find right here - the high yield cartridges aren't even available for these new printers yet. So buck up, spend the dollars up front, and you'll have your 6000 pages of high quality output. HP's printers are astoundingly reliable so I haven't yet encountered a point where I buy toner only to find that the printer no longer works. And spend the extra dollars on the HP product. If nothing else, you'll have a reliable high-quality toner cartridge that will last a good long time.

VERY POOR PRINT QUALITY
I purchased this about two months ago as my current toner cartridge was running low on toner. I needed to print a sign for my door but wanted the best quality print, so I installed to new cartridge. It literally was so light I could hardly read it. I did pull out the long tab that needs to be pulled before using. I am not that stupid. Now I put the old one back in so I can read what is printed. This is really bad and cannot be returned. BTW, the old cartridge is an aftermarket cartridge. Next time I won't by HP.

If an offer appears to be too good to be true it probably is.
Based on the picture and description I expected HP manufactured toner cartridges. At $10 each and since the vendor is NewYorkToner I expected they might be salvage from hurricane Sandy. The thick black plastic bags the cartridges are packed in should provide sufficient protection. What I received was remanufactured cartridges. While they are not what I expected the cartridges meet my needs and are less costly than other remanufactured cartridges that I have purchased.

Works just as well as HP brand laser toner
This products works perfectly. It works just as well as an HP brand cartridge and it saved me a bunch of money.I have an HP LaserJet 1320 printer. In the past I have tried to save some money by purchasing refurbished or third party cartridges like this one. Unfortunately the previous third party cartridge I bought was horrible and left black streaks on each page I printed. I returned the last cartridge and resorted to paying for an HP brand cartridge which is several times more expensive. It is now several months later and my HP cartridge recently ran out of ink. I decided I'd try to save a bunch of money again and try another third pary cartridge. I am very satisfied with this cartridge and I am planning on sticking with this product for all of my future toner needs. Highly recommended!

Toner NOT as advertised, NOT genuine
I ordered two of the HP cartridges advertised, all of the description about the product was about HP and how GREAT HP toners are. There was not any word that it was a non-OEM cartridge the price sounded like it was a compatible one, so that is why I read the whole ad. I sent an e-mail when I tracked my shipment as it had not come in and found my UPS shipment had been cancelled by the sender. When I contacted them they wanted to make sure I knew it was a compatible cartridge not a genuine one, I told them their ad said they were genuine and they replied "due to an Amazon product merge that happened". If that is the case, I ordered this on November 14th, the ad is still up as on the November 25th I originally saw for HP Q5949X, see if it's still up when you check them out. Unfortunately no resolution to getting the advertised product, they just refunded my money and I don't have what I ordered. I plan on placing this company on my personal DO NOT purchase from list. Looks like they have mixed reviews, but if you choose to buy from them, I would call them and confirm with them what your seeing on-line is actually what you will be getting.
