This is required to install most over-the-range microwave exhaust. The description is accurate. Delivered quickly. I am not sure why I am unable to find this locally. Local hardware outlets all seem to be familiar but were unable to find them in their inventory. (this includes two national chains!) The mounting taps were not evenly cut but is larger enough to make it work.

The "round" part was actually oval: 5.5 x 6.But you might be able to get it to work.

Part was as described, and was able to complete a retrofit duct project for my microwave with same.

Pretty self explanatory. I used it for a cold air intake into my glass shop to hook up to a floor vent.

Good quality product. Well built. Fit well. No negatives.

There is nothing wrong with this part but I didn't need two of them for my downdraft cooktop. I couldn't use this part due to the space in my cabinet and the outside pipe being too close to hook up a flexible tube to join the two together I only had four inches between the bottom of the duct transition and the outside pipe in the floor of my cabinet which couldn't be moved. Sadly the new cooktop was changed and the blower assemble is larger than the older unit so it takes up more space and does not give me the same setup needed to join them together. I had to make a tube to join them together from the downdraft to the outside pipe. It works but not pretty. So the part is a 5 but because of making it two in the purchase with no way to select only one piece I gave it a 3.
