Great product, but
I loved this product! The missing star is my own fault because the thing is so hard to keep track of if not on the phone case. So, functionally, the kickstand is very handy. Helps you hold your phone, holds itself when you're hands free watching a show, cuts tape on box seals(ooo!, ahhh!). The rotation is on a soft positional click ring, so adjustment is firm but yields to your needs. The magnet in the ring is neodium, so you know it clings!Yeah, they send you these metal rings you can mount it elsewhere while you're charging on a wireless charger, but the glue is weak and it doesn't stick to anything for long. I was usually using the ring in my car to swap the kickstand to, and three days after the ring slid off my dash, the kickstand magically disappeared. I even prepped the surface for adhesion with rubbing alcohol to help the 3m stick. Understandably, the company is probably between a rock and a hard place, making something stick well enough they could get sued over property damage trying to remove, but you've got a neodium magnet in the kickstand that you've got to yank off the ring however many times till the sticky fails. It's a great concept with poor execution. If you've got a slab of ferrous metal in your car that's firmly superglued to the vinyl, you'll be set. Or, if you just want the occasional ability to remove your kickstand for whatever reason and don't use a wireless charger on the daily. Or, if you're just a perfect human being that never loses anything. Those 30$ will be well spent. Good luck.

2nd times the charm
1st one bought started breaking down 2 months after I bought it. The kickstand feature I lost first, It became extremely loose and cut it. hold the phone up and then immediately after the compartment that holds the blade fell apart and not even screwing it back together or how only with some super glue and screwing it back on was I able to use it.now a year later and i decided to buy another one and it's holding up much better but the magnets are not as strong as the 1st one but build quality seems much better 2nd time around. A month now and still holding up good but with minimal use because The build quality doesn't allow it to really be used as a fidget all the time or else you will lose some strength in the kickstand feature.

Started out great, but ill never buy again now.
I was initially very pleased with this, and even after having it for quite a while it still held enough tension to hold up my s24 ultra in whatever position without a bunch of floppiness, now my big gripe is the built in blade which is really held on with a clip and 1 screw. This screw became loose multiple times, id tighten it back up with whatever tiny bit size it is, a few days/weeks later loose again. Didnt bother me until it got so loose the retention spring for the blade decided to eject itself. This is the problem as it cut the living hell out of my hand once this spring ejected itself. I just threw it away.Yes it was slim and weight was negligible, for $35 theres dozens of others out there that wont cut you. I loved mine though, until it Freddy crugard my hand, at that point it was a piece of -insert expletive-

Works well for a bit, then becomes loose
I have bought 2 of these stands, and I’m very conflicted about them. I want to love them so badly, and I do in some ways, but they end up becoming loose.Pros:I love how discreet the stand is when it is on my phone. It is thinner than a wallet, and it does fit into the grooves of my palm comfortable. It also does hold my phone well when the stand is tight, in both vertical and horizontal orientations. The blade in the stand works, but that’s about all the praise it (the blade) will get from me.Cons:After a few weeks, the stand has come incredibly loose. What does that mean? It spins around on the back of my phone now. The same movement that you would use to take the stand from portrait to landscape is now uncontrolled. This has happened with both of the stands I have bought. It happened with the first one, but I wasn’t paying attention to it. Before I bought the second one, I tried to find a way to tighten the mechanism, but there isn’t a screw to tighten or anything else. It’s held together by a rivet underneath a sticker. So, any chance of tightening without a rivet punch is out of the window. This one con is enough to lower my review to such a low rating. It makes the product actively annoying while attached to my phone. If I’m holding my phone in landscape, the stand swings down and makes holding my phone harder. Any chance of holding my phone by the stand is also ruined, because my phone starts spinning and is totally unstable.Again, I really want to love this stand. But it is rendered unusable after a few weeks of use in my opinion. If there was a second version released that changed the river for a screw that could be tightened, then I would be the first to buy it. Until then, I’m going to buy a different stand that can be tightened using my own screwdriver.

Don't use it as a fidget toy
Looks good and works as it should! I don't recommend spinning it a lot though.
