Individual Cans are Very Convenient
I made a kimchi pancake with one can, and it tasted delicious. I will make a couple of comments though:1) The kimchi is not as spicy as the ones I get in the Asian markets that come in a plastic jar. The taste is a little mild for me. I taste more saltiness than spicy. There is about 500 mg sodium in each can.2) As you see in the photo, it’s also a little more watery. I don’t know if that’s because it’s a canned item and they don’t want the kimchi to dry out?The napa cabbage tasted fresh and crunchy. I love that the packaging is so secure with a pop tab and even states “sterilized product” on the can. Best By date is 12/2025, so great to store for a long time. For convenience, these are worth it. If you like not so spicy kimchi and don’t want to store a giant jar of kimchi in your fridge, this is the product for you.

Not as strong as regular kimchi but pretty tasty!
This was my first time trying vegan and stir-fried kimchi. It was milder in spicy flavor and punch than my normal refrigerated kimchi, but it is very tasty. There's a nice level of spice, again not as spicy as I was expecting, but it is yummy and would be a great one for people to try if they don't like a lot of heat or spice. I love kimchi and as odd as it may sound my favorite part is the fermented flavor and smells that you get from traditional refrigerated kimchi. This variation is not the same but it does taste delicious on our noodles or on a bed a rice. I really can't complain because we are already down to three cans because we are enjoying the experience this order has brought us. I'd order again to have some variety in our kimchi options!

This Kimchi is delicious
I have always wondered about kimchi. I have heard about it, read about it, but had never actually tasted it.This product comes in a convenient sized can and each can contains enough kimchi for one big serving or two small ones.I tasted it and found it to be very tasty. It comes in a reddish sauce that is mildly spicy. I kept waiting for the heat to kick in, it didn't. I ended up eating the entire can at one sitting just to make sure that the spice wasn't too hot, it wasn't. The cabbage is still slightly crunchy. This would be ideal for car trips, campouts, lunch boxes. Bring along a spoon and you can eat it right out of the can! No can openers needed.

This tastes worse than it smells. My dog likes it though.

It's okay.
If you don't have access to a freshly made kimchee at your local grocery store then this is an okay substitute. The flavor is very mild. It doesn't have the tang from fresh kimchee and the cabbage doesn't have any snap or crispness to it. Also the cabbage pieces are all small cut sizes if that makes a difference to you. There aren't any big pieces since it's all going into a small size can. But if you don't have any other access to kimchee then this is acceptable. The flavor isn't the best I've tasted but it's okay.

Delicious vegan Kimchi
I really love Kimchi and this is a great one. I'm vegetarian, so I really appreciate that this one is vegan. I like the flip-lid cans as they are easy to open and they keep it fresh until I am ready to eat it. I love the flavor as well as the fact that it has some heat but not so much as to be uncomfortable. They say each can includes five servings. Ha-- maybe if it didn't taste so delicious! I could easily eat half a can or more in one sitting. Which makes me grateful that this came with 6 cans. All in all, if you like Kimchi, I highly recommend Shim's Vegan Stir-fried Kimchi!

Tasty, easy take-along.
I like kimchi, and I like this Shim's vegan stir-fried and canned kimchi. My kimchi savvy comes via countless restaurant samplings and the kimchi I've bought and ordered at various stands, stores, markets, and delicatessens. I've never had authentic homemade kimchi, so maybe I don't know the difference. But I like this—and I especially like that I can take along a can and enjoy a kimchi fix anywhere. Or open a can at home when I want something tasty to go along with an otherwise ho-hum meal. My wife doesn't do anything that's pickled, so the can size is perfect. I'm a fan! This is a great product and one I intend to keep on the pantry shelf.

Vegan Stir-fried Kimchi
This review is for “ Shim's Vegan Stir-fried Kimchi, Korean Canned Napa Cabbage, Easily store, For your next outdoor trip, Pack of 6”I love a jar of cold fermented kimchi. These aren’t going to replace that in the pantry/fridge but they are nice to use in certain situations. These are great for lunch packing with their small size and pop top lid. A can is wonderful dumped over a bowl of seasoned rice for a quick meal. There really isn’t a spicy taste to it so that’s a good option for some who can’t tolerate spice. The pieces are cut small already so for an on-the-go item it’s great to not need a knife to make the pieces smaller. Plenty of juice in the can. The price is a little high for canned kimchi in my opinion but it’s still delicious.
