Somerset Shaving Oil 15ml

Very impressed with this shaving oil. 3 drops of the stuff is all that's required for a nice clean shave. £5 for a small bottle of shaving oil may sound expensive but when you consider that only a few drop of oil is all that's required, it's actually pretty good value.I have been using it for well over a month now and have had no shaving rash/burn; I'm only using run of the mill disposable razors too. I'd recommend this to anyone.

Such a great way to shave and ten times better than any other similar product - so many friends have tried oils instead of shaving creams and when I ask: "Somerset" they say they don't remember and never use oil again. Come on Somerset - do a little PROPER advertising and I can guarantee a great response. Oils hardly exist on the continent and in Italy (where I spend a considerable time) they are always intrigued when they see me take out my little bottle and, having tried it, wish they could obtain some - does it EXIST abroad? Your rivals are now alone on the shelves at Sainsbury's here in Sussex - where are you? !!!

I find my self putting more than "a few drops" onto my face however the smoothness of shave i get is fantastic. My razor glides over my skin with no snagging or resistance and the scent is very pleasant and 'herby'. However one caveat is that due to item being oil based, it does tend to clog up the underside of my safety razor with old hair and requires me to remove the head to clean it.

I found this product years ago whilst on holiday but then could never find it again in our area. Thanks Amazon.I have tried various other brands but they really don't come close to Somerset Oil.First thing you have to understand is that you don't need much. I only need two to three drops which isn't bad as the wife likens my complexion to rhino skin, tough and rough to say the least. So don't be put off by such a small bottle. It will last as long as any other shaving foam if not longer. Also because of its size it is ideal for holidays and overnight trips. Taking up no room whatsoever in your toiletries bag.This product allows me a smooth, effortless and irritation free shave.There is another shave oil out there called "King of Shaves". It isn't.......this is!

Too little of it to be a daily usage product, and also too expensive for the same reasons.Slight improvement noted if applied in addition to normal brushed foam but direct to the razorblade(s) itself.

Somersets Oil has given me a nicest shave I have ever had, and as far as I'm coconcerned, there is no going back! I use a Gillette Fusion Razor, and the combination of the two is amazing. Previously, I used either foam or gel-based canisters for a shave, and things used to get clogged up a little. When a friend recommended Somersets Oil to me, he said, "you only need about 3 drops of oil!" I tried it and thought, this just cannot work! I was amazed; I still don't know how it works, but it does. I must say that this is the only product that gives me a gives me a good clean, close, shave that leaves the face feeling really fresh. Yes, over the years, I have tried everything else - this "oil" really works! If you have never used oil for a shave before, then just get started, like me, you wont go back!

great shaving product, i use it in the shower, gives me an incedibly close and comfortable shave. However, shortly after buying from amazon,I found the product in a local "pound store", priced at...can you guess?. so i purchased 4 bottles for the price of one from this seller, excluding P&P. Shop around people.

this is the best shaving oil. the ONLY shaving aid other that a razor for travelling clean shave no need for aftershave.
