Minky Kitchen Sink Washing up Bowl, Stopper in Base, 8 Litre capacity, Ideal for Home, Caravan or Camping

If you haven't seen this type of washing up bowl previously I urge you to consider purchasing one when you next replace your old bowl. So much more hygenic.

This is about a third of the price of the Jospeh Joseph washing up bowl.The plastic of this new one is shiny (and I suspect cheaper) plastic rather than matt plastic and the depth is much shallower.The plug works as well as my old one but it is obviously made of much cheaper material and I am not sure how durable it will be.Despite the bowl being shallower it sits higher in my sink than the old one.I like it but I am a bit nervous about whether it will leach microplastics but then again given how much my old expensive bowl has roughened up and shown scratches after 15 months I doubt there is much to choose between them. I have yet to see how it will behave with very hot water - the old one stood up to it very well.But at a third of the price it is a nice bowl and does what I want it to do and for now seems like a bargain.It also arrived a day earlier than expected which was nice too.But the main plus is that it doesn't have handles like the Joseph Joseph one - and that is brilliant because I have a roll up drainer that I can now use over the bowl conveniently - it kept getting tangled in the handles of the old washing up bowl. CENTRE DRAIN TIGHT TO ROTATE

I love the bowl the idea of it is incredible the only downside for me is that because of the lip around the edge of the top of the bowl it doesn't quite fit into my standard size sink, the lip gets in the way, I had a different one before with no lip at the top and fitted perfectly, it's okay when it's full of water but when it's not it's a bit wobbly

Great size quite large so need to make sure it fits sink.

Good replacement for my old bowl. Nice to have the drain at the bottom.

I realise this cannot be returned. The plug isn’t good as water leaks out. It’s design at the plug is rather tatty which makes me wonder if it’s a genuine minky productCan’t replace and can’t return highly disappointed
