These bulbs worked perfectly on our front porch. The bulbs that we had in the past were always too dim, they did not provide enough light for seeing at night time. These bulbs are bright enough that you can see the front porch and I have not seen any bugs. Come and been attracted to it. I just ordered more for the rest of our outside light fixtures. Very happy with the product. As you can see from the Photo, our front porch is neigh enough to see, yet still has a nice ambience to sit out there in the evening.

I looked around and found that Wiyifada was the best value for two Outdoor LED Bug Light Bulbs. The light is warm and definitely decreases the amount of bugs that are attracted. Working fine so far, let's hope they last! ~ Kort

My husband and I were talking to a friend about all the mosquitoes we have when we turn the porch light on, he said try replacing the bulb with a yellow one. I found this one and we do not see all the mosquitoes we did before. It’s a great product that does what it says. I’m going to order more for around the house.

As for installation, after I screwed this light bulb into the light socket, the light would not turn on. So I put a small amount of vegetable oil on a paper towel and rubbed it around the base of the light bulb, then twisted the base back into the light bulb socket. Voila! It works! I thought this tip might help someone. As far as brightness, the yellow bug light lights my patio, but not much into my yard. It’s not flickering. I need to give it some time to see how it does at repelling bugs and to evaluate longevity.

Item arrived on time and undamaged. Light is bright and is very effective. However, does not prevent flying night time insect from arriving. This light does reduce swarming of pest insect from gathering in numbers and flying about. This is a very bright light with low reflection while reducing eye strain when on. Compared to other bug lights is neither more or less effective concerning not attracting flying insects. I am happy with this purchase for the price. I recommend this bug lite

Just got to test one and compare color to old bulbs. Very good match. Color is less “amber” and more deep red IMO. This is what I had in my older 4-5 watt (65 watt/800 lumens incandescent) and was looking for in a 9 watt, 1600 lumen, LED bulb. I admit that the “brightness” differences is not very noticeable, but fine for my purposes. I was surprised at the bulb itself. The covering is a frosted clear plastic and the color I assume must come directly from the LED being used. Was worried for a second there…

I bought the bulbs after searching for the best bug bulbs on the web. This bulb was listed as the best bulb. I previously bought bulbs at a local big box store that did not work since they were simply yellow glass. I put in these bulbs in all my outdoor fixtures and, so far, I have not see any bugs near them at night.

Installed this bulb 2 days ago on my porch. The company says, “it cuts bug attraction up to 90%.” NOT TRUE, it is ATTRACTING a lot more bugs than my old bulb… It is bright, but it’s NOT a bug deterrent. I don’t NOT recommend…

I was hesitant to buy another yellow bulb because they aren’t always bright. These are really bright and I don’t have trouble seeing the walk. And it helps keep down the moths.
