RAYMARINE E70245 RAY60 VHF/DSC/Atis without/Within Radio Equipment AIS

Great radio, much easier to see and work than my other radio. Also like the second station function. Even though I don't need a second station, removing the mic from the front of the radio allowed me to mount it closer to the front of my electronic box and I used a through hull adaptor to pass the mic through the side of the box. Much better arrangement.

Built-in ais receiver. I bought it because you anounce it has AIS RECEIVER, Then i look in the raymarine page and the vhf raymarine 70 is the only one that has the AIS reciever, not the Raymarine 60

this is not the model number listed E70251 THIS IS IN FACT A RAY 60 MODEL # E70245. The model number listed is for a ray 70 with ais. so if you want the ray 60 your good to go with this item. if you want the ray 70 model number listed dont order this one. i purchased 4 of these had to return do to wrong item ( i.e part number) . as far as the unit goes the 60 or the 70 are both good units i like the 70 better and is what i was expecting do to the model number listed at the bottom of the page.. amazon has been great about the returns but really needs to fix this listing...

Great radio with DSC. It also fit directly into the cutout from the original Ray210.
