Solid combo if you can get it on sale.
It’s a great starter combo if you want durability and ease of use. The Ugly Tuff reel is a bit heavier than normal reels so if you want light weight go somewhere else. For what it is though I’m incredibly pleased with my purchase.

Best fishing pole
This is the best, most affordable fishing pole we’ve tried. Both the kids and I use it with ease. It’s pretty durable and very easy to set up. Would definitely recommend as a starter pole

Arrived broken
Pole arrived in a huge box but was broken in half. Top half is missing.

Disappointed *Broken*
Recently got into fishing and wanted to get something that was on sale so decided to go with this. I decided to purchase this brand because I’ve heard good things about it.The only issue I had with it was that it came broken. The reel handle was nowhere to be found I figured it might have been somewhere in the box but nope. This thing is pretty much unusable at this point. Make sure to check everything when you receive your stuff.
