Comfort and durability
These pillows are extremely soft and comfortable! We have had ours for about a year and they are like brand new, which shows good quality and durability.

absolutely the best pillow
I have had this Casper pillow for two years now and it is as good as the day I received it. I tried several different pillows but nothing worked for me. The firmness is perfect, and I just fluff it up when it starts to get flat. It's the perfect pillow you won't be sorry you bought it.

Comfy and soft
Edit: I still can’t find the perfect pillow to SLEEP on, so I took some fluff out of this one to see if it works better for me. Original: I’ve tried to find the perfect pillow and this one was so close. It is thick and fluffy, keeps its shape, and doesn’t seem hot. The filling never goes flat. I am so comfortable on it while using it to stabilize and prop myself up in bed, but sleeping on it has proven to be painful. It is just too high for me. I am mostly a side-sleeper, and sometimes roll to my back. I wake up with neck aches. I’m still keeping it because it is so comfy while I’m awake and reading or watching tv. I wanted it to be the perfect pillow for me, but I can’t sleep on it without waking up sore.

Oh, Yes! Finally a Pillow That Doesn't Hurt My Neck
In the past few months, I've tried every kind of pillow imaginable to help alleviate the neck pain I experience at night. Finally, at the recommendation of my sister, I tried this Caspar pillow. On my first night, even though I still had some neck pain in the morning, I wasn't awakened by it and slept through the night. It's only gotten better since then. The pillow is firmer than a down pillow, but it still has a fluffy (not thick) feel to support me whether I sleep on my side or on my back. I can fold it around my shoulder or tuck it under my chin or against my cheek. The center of it, where my head rests, feels firmer than the sides. Until my neck pain started, I preferred a relatively flat, firm pillow. I hated too much loft, whether by stacking pillows or sleeping on a super-stuffed one. When my pain entered its second week, I started experimenting. Memory foam and cervical neck pillows kept my head from moving, which turned excruciating two hours in. Alternative down pillows from other known mattress companies, even those pillows labeled "soft," pushed my head too far forward due to their thickness, also making the pain worse. Even though I'm allergic to feathers, I almost tried down pillows, but fortunately I found this Caspar first. It has a lot of loft, but the weight of my head sinks better into it than with other pillows. It doesn't keep my head from moving, either. It just feels fluffy and soft and gentle. I went back and forth between getting the Essential Pillow or the Original Pillow. Since they sounded similar, I finally settled on the Essential because of the price at the time. After all, I had already spent a lot on trial pillows. It must be dry-cleaned, however, while the Original does not. The pillow comes tightly rolled inside a compact box. Immediately, when removed, it fluffs up to the size and shape it should. (The company says to wait 48 hours before full loft -- I didn't find a lot of difference after the first couple of hours.) It is not a memory foam pillow; it does not have that squishy feel. Instead, it feels as close to down, with a supportive middle, as alternative down can get. -- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

Best pillows I have ever had in 65 years!
LOVE these pillows! We have 2 homes and 12 beds and every bedroom has these pillows! Our family and guests love them! I have gifted them to all of my adult children too! No matter what firmness you prefer this pillow is definitely the answer!!! They are durable, high quality, and fabulous overall!

Mixed bag. No cooling at all
Off the bat, purple pillow is the best pillow I've ever owned. It's old, I think they changed it and a new one is too overpriced. Temper cooling second best but also overpriced and very firm. This pillow is a medium firm softness and I bought the essential for my kid, and the cooling for me. I see no cooling properties at all on this. It has not gone flat like down or the synthetic alternatives and puffs up easily with a little effort. Some nights I feel it's perfect, others it does not provide enough support. Side sleeper and finding a pillow is difficult. The ones they say designed for side sleepers are always to firm. I rate this 3 stars because it's middle of the road. IMO has no cooling properties compared to others I have owned.

I had to leave this comment
I don't leave nearly as many comments as I should -- since I rely upon them when shopping. In this case, I really had to. But I found a shortcut because the top comment took the words out of my mouth. Line-by-line I agree with everything she had to say. So here it is again: "Finally a Pillow That Doesn't Hurt My Neck" In the past few months, I've tried every kind of pillow imaginable to help alleviate the neck pain I experience at night. All I will add is that I find myself wanting to turn in earlier just for the comfort and relief!

No regrets, perfect comfort match
I purchased the Casper Essential Pillow a few years ago for my husband at Costco and immediately wished I’d grabbed extras. This pillow has held up its shape better than any pillow I’ve ever owned — it’s never gone flat, lumpy, or lost its structure over the years. I finally decided to buy more during Prime Day for the rest of the family, and I’m so glad I did. The value is incredible considering the durability, comfort, and longevity. It’s unbelievably fluffy yet perfectly supportive. I’m a side and stomach sleeper who occasionally rolls onto my back, and I’ve had zero neck pain or need to scrunch it for extra support. Plus, it looks beautiful on the bed — full, plush, and inviting. Thickness is just right for all sleep positions. It’s not adjustable but we haven’t needed to since it’s comfortable as is. If you’re tired of constantly replacing pillows, this one is absolutely worth the investment. I won’t have to shop for pillows again anytime soon!
