Firepit
I love my Ikuby Firepit!!Easy to assemble. Not only are there directions but there is a video showing how to assemble.Stylish globe shape. Very unique.Large size. Holds a lot of firewood and you can build a pretty decent sized fire.Very sturdy and safe. I like how it encloses the fire to prevent stray ashes and ambers from setting the surroundings on fire.Comes with a grate to cook on. Just don’t lose the grate holders like I did.Great customer service. Contacted Ikuby for replacement grate holders and they responded immediately.

Sturdy and stylish
Assembly took a while, but wasn't difficult, even though I was assembling it without assistance. In addition to the tools they call for, I'd recommend using a socket wrench, as it makes tightening all the bolts much faster. I'm considering removing the top piece, to leave it as a semi-dome, just because I think it looks nicer that way. The grill is pretty high above the fire pit, which would make it difficult to cook on the coals, and that's really the best way to cook over a fire. That said, I wasn't planning to cook over this anyway, aside from hot dogs and marshmallows, which wouldn't use the grill anyway. The whole structure is heavy and sturdy. I'm confident that it'll hold up well for many years to come. As per usual, I'll update my review if it deteriorates anytime sooner than I'd expect (which for something like this is probably at least 10 years). The bowl that holds the wood and coals sites nicely on 4 bolts, and is easy to access to dump out ashes. I'd strongly recommend doing an initial hot burn after assembly to clean it off, and remove any chemicals they may have coated it with during assembly and transport. Definitely don't cook anything on it until after the first burn is done, the ashes have been dumped out, and it has been sprayed down with a hose. I was worried the metal grate would melt if I got the fire too hot, but so far that hasn't been a problem. All in all, I'm very happy with this fire pit. It's convenient and portable, stylish, and will let my friends and I enjoy many more backyard fires.

Very nice buy!
The media could not be loaded. I’m loving this fire pit!! Not only is it absolutely beautiful when lit but you can feel more of the warmth from your fire because of the way it’s built on the bottom. The screen prevents hot ambers from popping out and accidentally burning you so you can sit closer to your fire. The instructions are a bit difficult to understand, so I highly highly recommend hand, tightening the screws before you commit to it and tighten them all down the first time because you may have to move the screws. The instructions say it’s a 2 person job to put it together but I put mine together by myself and I’m a female! LoLI highly recommend this fire pit. I looked at several and this one by far was my favorite.Oh, it also comes with the grill for cooking too.

You'd better have a friend
The fire pit is sturdy, and looks great. I haven't tried it yet, but it seems like it's going to be fun. Everything works well, however if you do what I did, you are in for an ordeal. There are lots of parts and the directions for the spatialy challenged are impossible to decipher. Be sure to watch the set up video. It gets easier if you pay attention, although a few steps are taken for granted by the man on the video--again, some of this is easy, but everything should be explained for those of us in the hopeless column.I would recommend that you call a friend to help you. Also, it takes about 4 hours to fully assemble the fire pit. There is no cover for it--I thought there was one included.

I LOVE this thing: Solid, Griller or Fireplace!
The media could not be loaded. I love this thing! A bit more complex to build than typical because it's large sized and really we'll-made. Very handsome looking thing on patio, deck, etc. It attracted comments and compliments from guests, what are those things that you'll be proud to own! The removable grilling tray is "easy in - easy out" for cleaning. I use a metal screen made for grilling to go easy on the grilling tray itself. We've enjoyed all sorts of summer grilling fare with this, holds all we need to feed the troops, and cleans up beautifully. This autumn-winter, I plan to stock some logs and make a raging fire in this fireplace, leaves falling, chill in the air, warmed by this round fireplace with colored flames in the globe providing some sage and welcome ambience for the holidays. It's very well made, doesn't rattle or squeak. Do lube the joints - moving parts with a bit of WD40 to avoid rust and keep the lid moving well.Price is great on Amazon and don't be out-off by putting it together. It's all worth an hour of building to cook in nice weather and warm you in the chill air.Highly recommended!
