purchase these hinges as mine had tarnish somewhat, as I bought a bemis seat it had square hinges,tried everywhere to get replacements, then saw these on amazon,however they were just to long by 3 mm however well made.

It fits like the broken one
It fits like the broken one. It's a hinge. Original design is poor because the hinge offset takes the weight of the person sitting on the seat. The seat needs supports at back as well as at front.
