Allcam Red 92" Projector Screen 16:9 Widescreen Matte White Manual

I've had a projector for a few years now, and we watch films most nights on it. I had made a screen out of battening and canvas that worked really well, but when we moved my new cinema room provided me with a problem. The only place to put a screen was over a small side window. Without this window, the room (situated between the front room and the kitchen) would be a little too dark during the daytime, and I wanted to have it as a dual purpose cinema/playroom. I purchased this screen on a whim, reasoning that the price was good and it would solve a problem without any messing about making a new screen.Even though this is definitely a budget screen, the quality is outstanding. It's thick and strong, and the metal bar that the screen retracts into is strong and well-made. All mounting bolts were included, and all I ended up having to use was two rawlplugs and long screws. Whilst this is fairly heavy, the frame mounts distribute the weight excellently, so all that is really needed is two screws to hook the whole thing on to.My projector is an Optoma pico projector, and is a little dull at times being a low,powered LED projector. I purchased it to avoid having to buy any more bulbs, and once you get used to a source that does not light up the entire room during bright scenes, it's perfect for films and gaming. This screen makes my pico look even brighter than it has ever looked before, which is a real bonus.I tend to buy electronic items with a vague plan of when I will upgrade them. I can see this screen being used for many years to come. It does not need upgrading- it's that good.

Got this on sale, so even better value than normal. Watch small print for additional delivery charges, but even then worked out very economical.Couldn't quite grasp how big a 92" screen was, if anyone has doubts, it's enormous. Have projected an 86" image onto it, looks great. Hung it on a wall myself, would be an easy 2 person job, bit trickier on my own, but still quite manageable. Would recommend this if at all possible, does need a big wall. Can also be ceiling mounted, but you'd need to hit hooks into ceiling beams as it isn't a light piece of equipment.Can't complain about the motor noise (not whisper quiet, but far from loud, and as previous reviewers have also mentioned, completely silent when stopped, can't even see why this would be an issue really). Remote control makes positioning it a doddle (which is required much more than I thought I'd need to, who knew DVD's could vary so much!! Setting which are perfect for 1 film are rubbish for another), the remote is very responsive, making life much easier.Picture quality looks very good on it, my initial projector was a LED eBay model (took a chance, very happy), kids think they're at the movies. BTW, also made some extra effort and ceiling mounted the projector, well worth it for the neatness, however it might be a suggestion to position projector as centrally as possible first before hanging screen!!! But then, that's what I bought it for!

Product arrived well packaged. As some buyers have stated there is a slight odour (newness) but this disappears after a couple of weeks. I would have given it 5 stars but the power cord only fits to the right of the screen; there's no facility for fitting to the left. Using it with an Optoma projector and the quality is excellent no matter what angle you view it from.

First and foremost excellent service by eHome, ordered in the evening, dispatched next day, arrived day after, could not have expected better. Very well packed, a box inside a box, only large enough to create a double layer of cardboard so not to much bigger.Installation was easy, this is even taking into account that I was attaching the screen to the back of a raised beam so when the screen is not in use it cannot be seen from in front of the beam.Once plugged in works immediately either by the in-line control or the remote control, there is a manual stop button but the auto stop (both ways) is perfectly setup so I had no need to adjust the stop points.Currently using the screen with an old projector which is starting to fail but even with curtains open behind the screen, the black backing on the screen does not let even bright sunlight through.For the money excellent value, highly recommended.

My first projector screen and i am well impressed with the quality for the price obviously i have nothing to compare it too but i`m still impressed.The motor does make a noise when the screen is moved but its not excessive, the edges do curl slightly at the top (the black edge ) but does not effect the picture.The trip adjustment to control where the screen stops when lowered or when retracting back into the case is a bu**er to adjust when fitted to the wall fortunately for me the screen was perfect out of the box others might not be so lucky.FIVE Stars all the way.I like it I like it a lot!UpdateHave used now for over twelve months with no problem the screen is the same today as when I fitted it. Brilliant.Still FIVE Stars all the wayI like it I like it even more !Update3/04/15Edges are now curling a little more and is noticeable if you look for it but for the price this screen is still exceptional valueMy screen is almost always down I have noticed that when retracted and then lowered the edges curl more and take a couples of days to flatten back.

Livraison plus tôt que prévu : Expédié le lundi reçu le mercredi (1semaine d'avance), bravo au vendeur. Installation facile une fois qu'on a compris le système. Le cable de la commande centrale n'est pas suffisamment long. Commande électrique et télécommande : descente un peu lente, mais fait toujours sont effet.A savoir : le format du branchement ne correspond pas à la norme française (certainement allemand ou anglais). Heureusement, j'avais l'adaptateur adequat !Vue le produit, pas cher pour 114€. Pourvu qu'il tienne le coup...

Hola bueno días.Pedí esta pantalla, y ponía que habia Stock, y despues de cobrarmela, no había. Me debolvieron el dinero, muy correctamente. Sin necesidad de etar detras de ellos. !!En eso un 10!!Compre otra de otro modelo y increíble. "PHPANTALLA-ELEC200" Esa fué la que compré.Gracias
